The highest religious authority for Sunni Muslims in Libya, Grand Mufti Sheikh Sadiq al-Ghariani, called on Muslims to support Iran - a Shia Muslim majority country- against American and Israeli aggression, describing the conflict as a battle between “Islam and infidelity”. Al-Ghariani declared that Iran is a “Muslim nation” and should not be abandoned in the face of aggression from “hostile powers”.
The Grand Mufti stated that supporting Iran is an obligation, asserting that sectarian differences should not prevent unity against a common enemy. He strongly condemned attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran, advocating for Iran’s right to defend itself, particularly regarding its actions against foreign military presence in the region.

New U.S.–Israeli airstrikes hit Tehran, with explosions reported in residential areas, as Washington claimed it dropped heavy bombs on underground coastal facilities. President Trump issued a 48-hour ultimatum demanding Iran reopen the Strait of Hormuz, threatening to target its energy infrastructure, while Tehran warned it would respond by striking U.S. and Israeli energy, IT, and desalination systems across the region. Iran launched new waves of missile attacks targeting Israeli cities and U.S. bases, with impacts reported across central Israel and near sensitive sites, causing injuries and damage. In Lebanon, Israeli strikes intensified, with bridges over the Litani River targeted as H*zbollah continued rocket attacks, while the Iraqi resistance escalated operations against U.S. bases across the region.

The spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces issued a statement on Sunday that included:
"To the Muslim brothers in the region and our loved ones in the land of Palestine, and especially patient Gaza: Today, from the Islamic Republic of Iran, we speak to you honestly and from the heart; a word of loyalty, love, and brotherhood.
The Islamic Ummah and the Palestinian people have always been alive in the conscience of the people of Islamic Iran. Its name, since the first days of the victory of the revolution, has been imprinted in our awareness like a banner for a right that never falls, and for a nation that cannot be worn down no matter how heavy the hardships are, and whose will cannot be broken no matter how dire the events become.
We tell you that today we are not fighting only to defend ourselves, nor only to avenge our own martyrs, but we are also fighting to defend the grievances of the Islamic Ummah, the Palestinian people, and their martyrs, who have a steadfast and deep-rooted share in this position.

Iraq’s top Muslim Shia cleric, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali al-Sistani - a source of emulation for tens of millions of Shias in Iraq and around the world - has issued a statement strongly condemning the ongoing US-Israeli war on Iran.
The statement was read during the Eid al-Fitr prayers held at holy Shia shrines in the Iraqi cities of Karbala and Kadhimiya on Saturday. Ayatollah Sistani said that the flames of fire were still raging over homes in Iran and Lebanon while the two Muslim countries were under military aggression.
“We use the strongest words to condemn this oppressive war and call on all Muslims and freedom-seekers of the world to condemn it and show solidarity with the oppressed nations of Iran and Lebanon,” the statement said.

President Donald Trump said on Monday he had given orders to postpone any military strikes against Iranian power plants for five days, hours ahead of a deadline that threatened further escalation in the conflict now in its fourth week.
Trump added in a post on his Truth Social platform that the U.S. and Iran had had “VERY GOOD AND PRODUCTIVE” conversations over the past two days about a “COMPLETE AND TOTAL RESOLUTION OF HOSTILITIES IN THE MIDDLE EAST”.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry denies Trump’s claims of ongoing negotiations with the US, reaffirming that Iran rejects any talks until its objectives in the war are achieved. A Iranian security official told Tasnim News Agency, “Trump’s retreat from attacking critical infrastructure came after Iranian military threats gained credibility. Pressure on financial markets increased, and rising risks to US and Western bonds were another key factor behind the reversal.”
Adding, “Since the start of the war, messages have been sent to Tehran through intermediaries, but the response has been clear: we will continue defending until necessary deterrence is achieved." Oil prices fell over 13% after Trump announced postponement of military action against Iran’s energy facilities.

Syrian authorities have reversed a controversial alcohol ban in Damascus after backlash from residents and accusations of sectarian bias. The initial order stated that “the sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in restaurants and nightclubs throughout the city,” while allowing exceptions in Christian neighborhoods. Officials justified the move by citing “numerous” complaints and saying it aimed at “eliminating practices contrary to public morals,” but it quickly drew criticism.
Following protests, the Damascus governorate issued a clarification easing the policy, allowing alcohol sales in tourism-related venues like hotels and designated establishments. Authorities also issued an apology, stating, “The Damascus Governorate apologises to our people in Bab Touma, Qassaa and Bab Sharqi for the misunderstanding.”
Christian organizations cautioned that “restricting the sale of alcohol to predominantly Christian areas could make these areas clear and direct targets for terrorist attacks.”

Four Islamic schools that were previously excluded from Texas’ private school voucher program have now been admitted after filing a lawsuit challenging their removal. Bayaan Academy, Brighter Horizons Academy, Excellence Academy, and the Houston Quran Academy were approved following a federal judge’s order requiring the state to allow them to apply.
The plaintiffs argued that their exclusion was discriminatory, especially since no Islamic schools had initially been accepted despite meeting accreditation standards. After being invited to register, schools reported swift approvals. Houston Quran Academy principal Hamed Ghazali said, “We received an invitation to register yesterday… and we got approval immediately upon finishing the registration form.”
Attorney Maria Kari said the rapid approvals confirmed the lawsuit’s claims, stating, “It confirms what our position has been from the start, that there was never an issue with these Islamic schools’ accreditation.”

Most people are not aware why the event of Ashura is cited by Islamic resistance factions in modern political discourse, or what it actually signifies beneath the surface. Few understand that it traces back to a defining moment in Islamic history over 1400 years ago, when Prophet Muhammad’s grandson, Imam Hussain, refused to pay allegiance to the tyrant of his time, Yazid ibn Muawiyah. Hussain chose dignity, justice, and resistance over humiliation, injustice, and submission, even when faced with certain death. Few are aware that Ashura is not simply a historical tragedy, but a living principle that represents standing against oppression no matter the odds, inspiring generations through its message of sacrifice, faith, and moral courage. Yet today, it is often reduced to a slogan or stripped of its deeper meaning, even as it continues to shape movements, revolutions, and resistance across the Muslim world. When something this central is invoked but rarely explained, it raises a deeper question: how much of what we hear today is missing the historical and spiritual context that gives it its true meaning?

On March 24, 2026, Israeli airstrikes bombed an Al‑Amana gas station in Al‑Rashidiyah, southern Lebanon. In recent days, Israel has targeted five other Al‑Amana gas stations across southern Lebanon.
These attacks form part of Israel’s broader strategy of targeting national and civilian infrastructure across Lebanon, aimed at degrading economic and logistical networks in order to undermine the operational effectiveness of the Lebanese resistance and to cripple the normal functioning of communities in affected areas.

Twenty-one-month-old Jawad Abu Nassar sustained multiple injuries after being tortured by Israeli forces east of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, according to reports and medical findings. Jawad and his father, Osman Abu Nassar, were out purchasing necessities when Israeli forces compelled Osman to go to a checkpoint. He was then stripped of his clothes, while his son was tortured in front of him in an attempt to pressure him into making confessions. Medical reports indicate that the child suffered severe injuries after having cigarettes extinguished on his leg, being stabbed, and having an iron nail inserted into his leg.
After approximately ten hours, the child was returned to his family through the Red Cross at the Maghazi market while the father remains in detention. The family has appealed to international organizations to intervene for the father’s release and to ensure that the child continues to receive medical treatment.

Bezalel Smotrich, Israel’s finance minister, said on Monday that the war in Lebanon should end with “radical change,” calling for the creation of a “sterile security cordon” deep inside Lebanese territory. Speaking in a Knesset setting and in media remarks that day, he argued the outcome must go beyond defeating Hez-bol-lah and instead reshape Israel’s northern border.
“The current war in Lebanon must end with a radical change, beyond the vanquishing of the terror group Hez-bol-lah,” he said. “The Litani must be our new border with Lebanon, like the ‘Yellow Line’ in Ga-za and the buffer zone on Mount Hermon in Syria.” His proposal would effectively push Israel’s boundary northward to the Litani River, about 30 km from the current border.
Smotrich’s remarks came as Israel intensified its military campaign in southern Lebanon, with reports suggesting a possible ground offensive aimed at seizing territory up to the Litani. The river is a key link between southern Lebanon and the rest of the country.

According to the New York Times, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has reportedly pushed President Donald Trump to continue the war against Iran, describing the U.S.-Israeli campaign as a “historic opportunity” to reshape the Middle East, “according to people briefed by American officials on the conversations.” In recent conversations, he urged the U.S. president to press ahead toward the destruction of Iran’s hard-line government.
At the same time, officials in both Washington and Riyadh have raised concerns that a prolonged conflict could spiral, with Iran capable of launching increasingly damaging attacks on Saudi oil facilities as Iranian retaliation has targeted key oil routes and infrastructure.
Saudi officials have denied that the crown prince is advocating for a longer war, stating, “The kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always supported a peaceful resolution to this conflict, even before it began.”

A foundational aspect of American war propaganda is that the countries it targets “hate American freedoms”- but the consensus among Iranian citizens shows this couldn’t be any further from the truth.
The people of Iran have no ill-will towards the American people, saying things like “Americans are our brothers” and “The American people did nothing wrong”- destroying decades worth of US propaganda in just seconds.

Sayed Mojtaba Khamenei was never meant to be a public figure. Kept far from the spotlight, he emerged unexpectedly at a critical moment, chosen by Iran’s leadership under intense pressure, a decision that hinted at years of quiet preparation behind the scenes.
Under Sayed Mojtaba, Iran moved from strategic patience to calculated confrontation. His approach blends a “resistance economy” with national unity, aiming not just to endure pressure, but to turn it into leverage. Known for engaging directly with ordinary citizens, he built his outlook on unfiltered realities rather than political intermediaries.
His vision is outward-facing and assertive: leveraging chokepoints like the Strait of Hormuz, strengthening a unified regional front across allied movements, and pivoting eastward to reduce reliance on the West.
