There is value in tracing the lineage of Leftist ideas. It's good to know who was promoting this stuff and how it infected society. And "Western Marxism x Postmodernism" is a pretty good summary of the New Left ideology.

But when you trace these ideas back to their roots, all you discover is that the Left has always been led by deranged, resentful freaks who are hellbent on destroying civilization, enslaving everybody, and promoting the most sickening degeneracy you've ever seen.

It becomes even more obvious that all of their obscure bloviating and intellectualization is just a cheap façade to disguise their megalomania and perversion.
