"This recording is a collection of mostly unreleased pieces from my two projects: Werfol and the compositional side of Danil Inyushkin, as well as collaborative works with cellist Iskandeor.
I don’t have a clear answer about what genre I work in. I have my own little world I hide in — and that’s where the sound comes from.
Sometimes it’s fast, dense techno. Sometimes it’s the crackle of a frying pan when water starts to boil.
Stay tuned — these works might see the light of day soon."

"I made this track for Shorlax’s Daydreaming show on Kiosk Radio. There was a special edition featuring music from the artists performing at his upcoming event in Brussels.
In the track I used a sample I cut years ago, but I can’t remember the author. I only remember it was a Japanese media artist. If anyone recognizes it, please let me know so I can give proper credit."

Umresh, the author of the show, is a multi-genre dj from Siberia, who has mainly performed in Prague and Berlin, and has now settled down in Buenos Aires. The artist’s dj sets and mixes contain music that has had a lasting emotional and intellectual impact on her, both past and present.

Her sets move freely between dub, noise, traditional music, improv jazz, footwork and breakcore, often in ways that feel intuitive rather than planned. Instead of smooth transitions, she focuses on tension, sudden shifts, and moments that catch you slightly off guard.
This approach has brought her to festivals and platforms like Terraforma, Freerotation, Intonal, CTM and Meakusma, as well as clubs from Berghain to Café OTO. Alongside regular appearances on NTS, her shows on Rinse France and Cashmere Radio reflect a curatorial style that’s exploratory, personal, and less concerned with genre than with atmosphere.

The number 22 comes from wjerstean. This set was recorded in summer 2025 at Hayfilm Cluster, Yerevan. Alongside delicate noise textures, the mix works with groove and rhythm, forming a steady, hypnotic flow and a somnambulistic, inward-focused atmosphere.
Based in Yerevan, Lisa (wjerstean) released her debut album on NEN Records in 2024, while we had previously premiered one of her tracks from a crewq records compilation.
