We strongly condemn the attack on our friend and valued Kurdish partner, Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, and his office in Erbil.

Such aggression against our trusted Kurdish allies is unacceptable and a direct threat to regional stability.

We will not condone or tolerate these hostilities. We fully support Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi’s leadership in restoring Iraq’s full sovereignty and ensuring all weapons and security forces remain under the authority of the Iraqi state.

They asked us why we were betting on drones, why we invested a lot in these directions, and they didn’t believe that the future belongs to drones and that the war is the drone.

But today, I can say that all our key partners really understand that the situation is different, and the future belongs to drones and robotic technologies.

I called the president of South Korea recently. I said, “Would you give us a hand with Iran? If you would like, we don’t need help.” He said, “No thanks.”

I said, “What do you mean? We have 39,000 soldiers over there guarding you from Kim Jong Un, and you are not going to help us on a very easy military operation in Iran? That’s strange.”

Then why are we involved in helping you? Protecting South Korea is costing us billions of dollars.

We can’t go around and protect all of these countries, especially when they are not there to help us.

They want to make a deal, but they are not going to make the kind of a deal that I feel is necessary.

Kim Jong Un has always treated me with great respect.

We spent time. I understand him. He understands me.
