We will ensure that the Chinese and Russians will not gain access to Greenland's economy.

All of this is not about Greenland or the Arctic, this is about how can we protect ourselves against our adversaries.

Our main adversary is Russia. And of course, we also see China massively building up. So let’s not be naive about China.

Still, Russia remains our primary adversary.

The United States is willing to supply as much military support as Ukraine needs, particularly these interceptors, paid for by Europeans and Canadians.

We must keep that flow going, ensure it continues, and make sure we do not lose sight of this main issue.

I believe we’ve narrowed it down to a single issue.

We’ve discussed multiple iterations of that issue, which tells me it is solvable.

If both sides genuinely want to solve it, then it will be solved — that’s my view.

Trump has talked about a tariff-free zone from Ukraine that I think would be game changing.

You would see industry move into that area in a huge way.

The Ukrainian people are under some real difficult conditions today, and I am completely empathetic on behalf of Trump.

That is part of why we are going to Moscow to have that discussion about how we end this thing and how we make it better for your people.

Security in the Arctic is a matter for the entire NATO alliance.

It is therefore good and natural that it is also discussed between the NATO Secretary General and the US President.

The Kingdom of Denmark has long worked for NATO to increase its engagement in the Arctic.

Throughout the process, the Danish government has coordinated our efforts with the Greenlandic government, Naalakkersuisut.

We have been in close dialogue with NATO and I have spoken to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on an ongoing basis, including both before and after his meeting with President Trump in Davos.

NATO is fully aware of the Kingdom of Denmark's position.

We can negotiate on everything political; security, investments, economics. But we cannot negotiate on our sovereignty.

I have been informed that this has not been the case either. And of course, only Denmark and Greenland themselves can make decisions on issues concerning Denmark and Greenland.

The Kingdom of Denmark wishes to continue to engage in a constructive dialogue with allies on how we can strengthen security in the Arctic, including the US's Golden Dome, provided that this is done with respect for our territorial integrity.
