Seizing another nation's assets to pay for unrelated future claims is an incendiary precedent.

Those who celebrate or profit from such funds should remember: once governments normalize confiscation, no one's assets are safe.

Ensuing chaos will not be pretty or peaceful.

The reversal surprised U.S. negotiators and Saudi officials, who had viewed the agreement as a major diplomatic achievement.

Naturally, there have been discussions with Pakistan, as a mediator, regarding their initiatives and proposals. The problem is not the lack of a mediator between us and the United States, but rather the problematic approach of the Americans.

As long as the legitimate goals and demands of the Iranian people are not met, it is natural that we continue our efforts.

The argumentation behind that is it's forced labor. I mean, sorry, but you can't say that for the European Union.

If you compare our labor laws to the ones of the United States, I mean, we have paid vacations; we have very good labor conditions for our employees.

So it's not really grounded.

We had a deal with America, and we have kept to that deal, our side of the deal.

I mean, the negotiations were not easy. It is important for our companies that there is predictability.

That's why the companies were saying, "Get to a result, get to a negotiated deal," because predictability is better than not having the view of what is coming.
