🇺🇸🇸🇦🇮🇱🇮🇷⚡️ — Senator Lindsey Graham: Now, Saudi Arabia and Israel, quite frankly, owe President Trump a lot. It would be good for the region and the world for these two countries to make peace and do business together.

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️ — Senator Lindsey Graham on Iran:
I'm confident that President Trump won't sign a bad deal.

The MOU as described by the vice president and administration seems very promising. Iranian media reports about the deal seem concerning.

I'd like to have a diplomatic solution to Iran's nuclear ambitions. My skepticism is Iran itself. What would a good deal look like? No enrichment.

We're opening up the straits and we're stopping hostilities — that is a success of its own, but whether or not we can get phase two, I don't know.

When it comes to the nuclear program, yeah, that's the law (Congress must approve). And he said he'd send it over. So, yeah.

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️ — Senator Lindsey Graham on Iran:
The president can be trusted. I don't know about the Iranians — given 47 years of deceit, I would say no.

President Trump's done more to deal with Iran than anybody since I've been around.

They're the weakest they've been militarily. Their economy is in shambles.

The goal for me is to put Iran in a box so we can get regional peace.

Saudi Arabia joins the Abraham Accords, and that will only happen with a weak Iran.

"What if the deal does this? What if the deal doesn't do that?"

I told them, "If you don't know, SHUT UP!"

What I do know is the Strait of Hormuz is open. The blockade on both sides is lifted.

🇹🇷🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷⚡️ — Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the US-Iran deal:
President Trump did not listen to Israel's objections on this matter.

Iran responded positively to that will, and they reached an outcome.

Our hope is that these technical negotiations will end as soon as possible and that there will be a form of peace in our region.

🇹🇷🇮🇱⚡️ — Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan:
Israel's stance in the region is not just a problem for a few countries — it's a problem for the entire world, and the entire world is aware of it.

For the first time, a shared understanding is forming across the entire world about dissolving the illusion that Israel has created. This understanding needs to turn into action by following the necessary diplomatic methods.

When Israel sees that the entire world is engaged in a diplomatic effort against it, it will not be able to take action.

🇫🇷🇦🇪⚡️ — France is in discussions with the UAE over a potential defense partnership centered on the next-generation upgrade of the Dassault Rafale, following the collapse of the Franco-German Future Combat Air System (FCAS) program, FT reports.

The talks focus on collaboration for the Rafale’s next major upgrade, expected to enter service around 2030. While the enhanced Rafale will not replace the canceled FCAS—particularly lacking advanced features such as stealth—it could serve as a foundation for future fighter development.

A successful Rafale partnership with the UAE, which already operates the aircraft, would strengthen France’s ability to pursue alternative defense collaborations and support the development of a future combat aircraft for the 2040s without relying on Germany.

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️ — U.S. officials say the Washington-Tehran memorandum of understanding is a short, deliberately vague political framework designed to pave the way for more detailed negotiations rather than serve as a final agreement, CNN reports.

While the public text broadly covers sanctions relief, nuclear commitments, asset unfreezing, and economic cooperation, officials say key Iranian concessions were made through private back-channel discussions and are not explicitly included in the document. These include cooperation on neutralizing Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile under international oversight.

The framework also outlines economic incentives, including access to a proposed $300 billion development fund and the resumption of Iranian oil exports through sanctions waivers, with all benefits tied to Iranian compliance.

U.S. negotiators are pushing to release the text before Friday’s signing ceremony, though Iran and mediators have requested a delayed rollout.

🇺🇸⚡️ — Internal contractor documents contradict President Trump’s repeated claims that the White House East Wing redevelopment—including a new ballroom, bunker, and medical facilities—would cost no more than $400 million and be funded entirely by private donors, WaPo reports.

Project estimates prepared by Clark Construction placed the cost as high as $600 million, with more than half expected to come from taxpayer-funded sources, including the U.S. Secret Service and the White House Military Office.

Records also show that by March, the federal government had already approved tens of millions of dollars in payments related to the project.

Internal estimates dating back to July 2025 projected significant public funding from the outset, despite public statements that the project would be financed by Trump and private donors.

🇺🇸🇨🇳⚡️ — The Trump administration has delayed adding more than 100 Chinese companies, including AI startup DeepSeek and memory chipmaker ChangXin Memory Technologies, to the U.S. Commerce Department’s Entity List despite their being approved for designation last year, according to Reuters.

The companies include firms accused of supplying drone components to Russia, facilitating sales of restricted Nvidia chips to Chinese institutions, and supporting Chinese military drone and robotics programs.

The Entity List has not been updated since October, the longest gap in more than a decade.

Senior Commerce Department officials have been reluctant to proceed with new listings since late 2025 out of concern that additional sanctions could further strain U.S.-China relations.

🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️ — The Trump administration is exploring measures to fully restore tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, including a proposal that would allow shipowners to pay for expedited passage accompanied by U.S. naval escorts, according to POLITICO.

President Trump and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles have directed officials to find ways to encourage shipping companies and insurers to resume operations through the waterway as U.S.-Iran negotiations continue.

One proposal under discussion would create a fee-based “VIP pass” system offering priority transit and possible military protection. Another idea being considered is using the Defense Production Act to require U.S.-based insurers to provide coverage for vessels operating in the area.

The proposals also aim to encourage greater European participation in maritime security operations in the region.
