To every decent human being—regardless of religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, or any other distinction,
To Muslims, Jews, Christians, Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists, and all others of faith,
And to those who follow no formal religion but hold deeply to the universal values of peace, justice, and human dignity:
The U.S. - Israel launched this war of aggression on 28 February 2026, for a second time in less than a year, while Iran-U.S. were engaged in diplomatic negotiations.
This is not merely a war over land, resources, or geopolitics. This is a war that will determine the very meaning of 'good' and 'evil' in our time and for future.
What has been unleashed upon our peace-loving nation is not just another conflict. On one side stand those who delight in violating every law of war and basic human decency—those who murder for sport, who slaughter children to torment their families, who fire newest missiles at women’s sports halls simply to test their destructive power.
This is a war between those who boast of torpedoing unarmed vessels “for more fun,” and those who go to extraordinary lengths to protect innocent lives.
This is a war between professional liars who fabricate justifications for atrocity, and a proud people who defend their homeland and human dignity relying solely on their own strength and resolve.
This is a war between those whose decisions are shadowed by moral compromise, and those who act with a clear conscience.
This is a defining struggle for the future of humankind. It will decide whether civilization’s hard-won achievements—human rights, the rule of law, and basic morality—will survive or be swept away.
We must choose:
Do we accept a world ruled by modern slave masters—arrogant, domineering, and unaccountable—who govern through coercion, lies, and extortion?
Or do we stand for a world grounded in respect, justice, peace, and human dignity?
Humanity’s conscience is not yet dead. But in times like these, silence is complicity with evil.
If you reject the path of barbarism and domination, then find the moral courage to speak, to act, and to stand on the right side of history—before the world descends into an abyss of lawlessness and subjugation.
The choice is yours.

We will be happy if there will be no deal, we will be happy if the siege on Hormuz continues, and we will be happy if Iran gets a few more strikes.
Escalation is a realistic scenario if the Iranians continue to play and drag negotiations.

My speech today is called, "Not a word about the United States."
We meet at a time when the world feels less stable than it has for many decades. War is no longer something we only read about in history books or faraway headlines.
Conflicts, pressure, and power politics are shaping decisions in almost every corner. This is not just a security crisis. It is a challenge to the international order we have relied on for decades.
From a Greenlandic point of view, these changes are real and close, not abstract. The Arctic is no longer a remote or isolated region. It has become a place of growing strategic interests.
Military activity is increasing. Infrastructure that once seemed technical or neutral, cables, satellites, air routes, is now clearly linked to security and resilience. For Greenland, resilience and security starts at home.

The Greenlandic people have lived in the Arctic for thousands of years. We learned early on that survival depends on cooperation. You don't make it through harsh conditions alone. Everyone has a role. Everyone matters. That way of thinking still guides us today.
Our location in the North Atlantic and the Arctic connects continents, shipping routes, and communication lines. What happens in our region affects far more than the Arctic itself. Security today is not only about soldiers and weapons. It is also about whether societies can function when something goes wrong through cooperation based on shared values.
In Greenland, digital connections are essential. Telecommunication keeps communities connected across vast distances. They support healthcare, education, emergency response, and basic governance. If these systems fail or are interfered with, the effects are immediate. That is why a resilient infrastructure matters.
It matters who built it, who runs it, and who can access it. It is not just a technical question. It is a political and security question.
The same goes for strategic resources. Greenland has minerals that are important for modern economies, development, defense industries, and so on. These resources attract attention and interest from many directions.

I think the conversations is now in a better place than when we had our conversations through the media.

Jens-Frederik Nielsen: Yeah, of course. I would like Denmark to have a new government soon.
That would be nice for us in Greenland because when you talk about foreign policy and defense and so on, it's a matter of the Kingdom of Denmark — Greenland and Denmark together.

Jens-Frederik Nielsen: I don't know yet. I have said if he wants to meet with me, I need a clear agenda of what he wants to do.
We have been under this pressure for now 15-16 months. Trying to influence the Greenlandic people and politicians—we know the game.
We can have robust discussions and we can meet, but it will be with respect for what Greenland has been saying from the beginning. We are not to be taken. We are not for sale.

We have been ready from the beginning and said we are ready to do more and take more responsibility in the alliance in terms of national or international security.
We have been ready to have a better and maybe wider business collaboration. We are ready for investments to cooperate in mineral resources and so on.
We have been ready from the beginning. Our only demand is respect. Stop threatening us.
Look at us as a like-minded partner that you will work together with, not one that you would stomp on.

My people have been under huge pressure for the last 15 months.
It's a feeling of relief if we don't read about it in the paper for a period of time.
Imagine it this way: as a prime minister, you have to tell the people to be "ready; anything can happen; they won't rule anything out." Just to be in that stage shows how seriously we have taken this situation and how serious it has been for the Greenlandic people.
We are not there now, but we are not finished yet either. We are negotiating, but we don't have an agreement.

Forwarded from TankerTrackers.com Inc.,
To our best knowledge, Iran hasn't successfully exported* any crude oil by sea over the past 28 days. Some refined products managed to escape because US OFAC did not slap sanctions on those tankers.
In addition, Kharg Island hasn't loaded any tankers since 2026-05-06 as a result of the oil leak which Tehran denied taking place.
That said, there are still plenty of cargo-empty tankers both inside and outside the blockade perimeter; as well as plenty of cargo-laden tankers grouped together not too far away from Pakistan.
*(Our updated definition of an export out of Iran is when a tanker exfiltrates the US Navy blockade line and doesn't return with the oil.)

There are some 17 million French people who are part of the African diaspora — we are part of the African continent.
There are millions of French people who are French Malian or French Algerian or French Senegalese and so on.
We have this great chance to be able to succeed alongside the African continent.

Mali’s coup leaders preferred their own security over the fight against terrorism.
