It must be remembered that Article 2 of the association agreement between the European Union and Israel is about respecting international law and humanitarian law.

And clearly, neither in Lebanon, nor in the West Bank, nor in Gaza, is Israel respecting it.

And this must lead us to reflection and also to action.

For the first time in decades, three aircraft carriers are operating in the Middle East at the same time.

Accompanied by their carrier air wings, the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) and USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) include over 200 aircraft and 15,000 Sailors and Marines.

I carry in my pocket the image of a Muslim child killed in Lebanon, who, during my visit to Lebanon, was standing there holding a sign that said "Welcome, Pope Leo," and in this latest phase of the war, he was killed.

I cannot be in favor of war.

We do not know where this will lead.

There is an entire population in Iran of innocent people who are suffering because of this war.

I condemn all actions that are unjust. I condemn the taking of people’s lives. I condemn capital punishment.

I believe that human lives are to be respected.

I would change the question: what is the Global North doing to help the Global South in the situation that forces them to migrate?

I'm not saying that everyone should enter however they want, without order, creating situations that are sometimes more unjust in the place they arrive than they left behind.

But having said that, I ask, what are we doing in the richest countries to change the situation in the poorest countries?

On December 29, 2024, the Prime Minister underwent surgical treatment for benign prostate enlargement.

The procedure was successful and without any complications. An MRI scan performed as part of routine follow-up after surgery demonstrated a tiny focus, less than 1 cm, with suspicious characteristics in the prostate.

Further examination proved that this was indeed an accidental discovery and an early stage of prostate cancer.

This is an early detection of a tiny lesion, without metastases, as all other tests have proven beyond a doubt.

In lesions of this type, it is possible to continue with close monitoring only or with short, focused radiation therapy.

The Prime Minister chose the option of treatment. The treatment, managed by Prof. Aharon Popovtser together with Dr. Mark Vigoda and Dr. Shraga Gross, was completely successful with the complete disappearance of the lesion, as demonstrated by all imaging (X-ray) and laboratory tests.

I requested to delay its publication by two months so that it would not be released at the height of the war, in order to prevent the terrorist regime in Iran from spreading more false propaganda against Israel.

A year and a half ago, I underwent a successful surgery for benign enlarged prostate and since then I have been under routine medical follow-up.

In the last check-up, a tiny spot less than a centimeter was found on the prostate.

Examination revealed it was a very early stage of malignant tumor, with no spread or metastasis.

I underwent focused treatment that removed the problem and left no trace. I had a few short treatments, read a book, and continued working.

The spot disappeared completely. Thank God I overcame this as well.
