Hezbollah is no different than Al-Qaeda and ISIS. Hezbollah is Shiite, and Al-Qaeda and ISIS are Sunni, but they have the same goal.

If anybody tells me that Hezbollah is different than the Ayatollah, Al-Qaeda, or ISIS, you don't understand Hezbollah.

I do not trust the Lebanese military to disarm Hezbollah.

The commander of the Lebanese military, Haykal, I don't trust as far as I can throw him.

He needs to be replaced before there's a credible plan to disarm Hezbollah.

Why end the blockade? Because it's working. The currency of Iran has collapsed. They're on the verge of actually financial ruin from the blockade.

I want to make sure Iran can't block the Strait of Hormuz going forward.

It would be insane to allow Al-Qaeda to enrich uranium, to allow ISIS to enrich uranium.

The state of Iran under the Ayatollah is no different. They have the same agenda.

Now, what happens if they say no? Keep the blockade in place, but be willing to go after the energy infrastructure on Kharg Island.

I'm not asking President Trump or anybody to invade the country.

We are inside the 5-yard line... we got Lebanon—Hezbollah pinned down. Don't throw them a lifeline.

If you get a peace deal in Lebanon and it doesn't have a pathway to disarm Hezbollah, it is a fake peace deal.

President Trump—our guy—is directly talking to the Iranians. He is negotiating himself.

He was on the phone with the Iranians a couple of days ago, and it got rather sporty to the point that President Trump loudly told Iran what would happen if they keep playing games.

He actually lost his voice. I'd hate to be the Iranian on the receiving end of that.

So President Trump is now directly involved in the negotiations.

Despite all our past circumstances, we were not a party in any conflict against Iran during the war taking place currently between the U.S., Israel, and Iran.

We were pushing in a direction not to spark this war from the start, because Iran is a state that has a population of about 85 million people, and any harm that hits Iran from the inside could affect the region in general.

We are pushing for the region to be stable and for its problems to be solved via dialogue and diplomacy, not to enter into conflicts and big disputes.

We hope this war stops and the region moves to a phase where such wars will not repeat.

Any country's recognition of Israel's claim to the occupied Syrian Golan Heights is invalid because this is a right belonging to the Syrian people.

The Golan is Syrian land. It is not for any state to give away or recognize.

More than 134 countries from around the world recognize that the Golan Heights are unequivocally Syrian territory, occupied by Israel.

The IDF holds and will continue to hold all the places it has cleared and captured.

The ground maneuver into Lebanon and the attacks on Hezbollah throughout Lebanon have achieved many accomplishments but are still not complete.

More than 1,700 terrorists have been eliminated — more than twice the number in the Second Lebanon War, and a security zone held by the IDF has been created, reaching 10 km deep from the border line to the anti-tank line and extending from the west by the sea to the Hermon area in the east — this is to remove invasion threats and protect against direct fire towards the communities.

The security zone has been cleared of terrorists and weapons and is empty of residents and will continue to be cleared of terror infrastructures, including the demolition of houses in the Lebanese contact villages that have become terror outposts.

Alongside this, the security area between the security zone and the Litani line, currently controlled by our forces with fire, has not yet been cleared of terrorists and weapons and this must be done either politically or through continued IDF military activity after the ceasefire.

The attacks on Hezbollah’s launch areas and strongholds beyond the Litani and throughout Lebanon, which we started and planned to intensify greatly, have now been stopped before achieving their goals and will need to be renewed and carried out.

The goal we defined: dismantling Hezbollah's weapons by military or political means was and remains the campaign objective to which we are committed — now with significant political leverage created through the direct involvement of the US President and commitment to this goal — while applying pressure on the Lebanese government.

We promised security to the residents of the north and so we will do.
