U.S. forces drop precision munitions on underground military targets deep inside Iran to further degrade the Iranian regime's ability to project power in meaningful ways beyond its borders.

This is a regime led by people who believe it is their calling and their purpose in life to usher in the end of the world.

They were aiming to become the next North Korea, except not a North Korea run by a regime that, you know, is troublesome and hard to understand.

But an Iran run by radical clerics with intercontinental missiles that could reach the mainland of the United States eventually.

That's what they would have ultimately achieved had President Trump not taken these steps that he has taken.

There is nothing any government is doing or any country in the world is doing now to help Iran that's in any way impeding our mission.

Several media outlets recently reported accusations of U.S. forces striking a sports hall and residential area in the city of Lamerd, Iran, on Feb. 28. After looking into the reports, U.S. Central Command has confirmed the accusations are false.

U.S. forces did not launch any strikes at any time into the city of Lamerd or anywhere within 30 miles during the opening day of Operation Epic Fury.

Furthermore, video footage circulated by media outlets alleging U.S. involvement does not show a Precision Strike Missile (PrSM). A PrSM is 13 feet in length. The munition depicted in the video appears to be twice as long, consistent with the dimensions and silhouette of an Iranian Hoveyzeh cruise missile.

U.S. forces do not target civilians, unlike the Iranian regime which has attacked civilian locations in neighboring countries more than 300 times.

This is a country whose economy is in shambles. It's going to be even worse off after this operation.

This is a country whose people have been protesting in the streets because of not just the lack of freedom but the lack of economic opportunity.

They've taken all of their money and invested all of it in sponsoring terrorism, in building long-range missiles, increasing the range of their missiles every year, building thousands of them, and building these one-way attack drones that they're using against their neighbors.

This is what they've put their money towards, and this is what they were going to continue to do. They refused to negotiate on missiles.

They refused to even negotiate on terrorism, and they refused to negotiate on enrichment.

We depend very little on the strait, if, in fact, Iran decides to set up a toll, I imagine that will be the president's call whether he wants to help.

It's countries around the world should be stepping up and dealing with that and saying that's intolerable.

So I think Cuba is in need of two things: economic reforms and political reform.

They are in a lot of trouble. We'll have more news on that fairly soon. We're working on that as well.

If now we've reached a point where the NATO alliance means that we can't use those bases to defend America's interests, then NATO is a one-way street… then why are we in NATO?

Unfortunately, after this conflict is concluded, we’re going to have to re-examine that relationship; we're going to have to re-examine the value of NATO and that alliance for our country.

Ultimately, that's a decision for the president to make, and he'll have to make it.

We're going to finish the job here — we're very, very close to achieving our objectives.

What's been achieved in Venezuela in just three months is nothing short of extraordinary.

All the "doomsdayers" who were saying after Maduro was taken that all of these things were going to go terribly wrong—I think they need to admit they were wrong.

This is the weakest Iran certainly has been in 25 years.

The objectives are very clear. Destroy their Air Force, destroy their Navy, destroy their factories that make these missiles and these drones, and severely degrade their missile launchers. We're well on the way to achieving all four objectives.
