Air defenses are dealing with a ballistic threat in Riyadh.

With great sorrow, I received the painful news of the martyrdom of Mr. Dr. Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council and the Leader's representative in that council, as well as his honorable son and some of his colleagues.

He was a knowledgeable, farsighted, intelligent, committed individual with diverse experiences in various political, military, security, cultural, and managerial fields. Nearly five decades of involvement in different layers of the Islamic system had made him an outstanding figure.

Undoubtedly, the assassination of such a personality indicates his importance and the enmity of Islam's enemies towards him. Islam's adversaries should know that shedding this blood on the strong tree of the Islamic system only makes it stronger, and of course, every blood has a price that the criminal killers of the martyrs must soon pay.

I extend my sincere condolences to his family and relatives, especially Ayatollah Amoli Larijani, and pray for the elevation of their ranks.

Last night, the people of Iran foiled all of the enemy's designs.
