NATO is built on a simple principle. We stand together when it matters.

The only time the alliance's musketeers have been called upon was when the USA was attacked on September 11, 2001.

Our close ally asked for help, and Denmark stood ready.

First in Afghanistan and then in Iraq, Danish soldiers fought shoulder to shoulder with our allies.

We took responsibility, we acted, and we suffered losses.

Many skilled, heroic service members paid the highest price.

Denmark remains ready to take responsibility. Now and in the future.

That is why we are now investing significantly in rebuilding and strengthening the Defense.

With the defense agreement, the Acceleration Fund, the Agreement on Further Strengthening of the Defense in the fall of 2025, as well as the 2026 finance act, an additional 360 billion kr. (approx. 56 billion) has been allocated to defense and security in 2024—2033.

It means something to NATO. And therefore, Denmark will always be there for NATO.

Gaza has to be demilitarized, and I think also deradicalized, which is what happened in Germany and in Japan after you won World War II.

You not only destroyed the military and governing capability of the Nazi party or the imperialist regime in Japan, you also deradicalized the population.

You taught them that there’s a possibility of a different life.

Look at Japan today. Look at Germany today. There is no Nazi army there. No Nazi government. And the same thing applies for Japan.

That’s what we have to do in Gaza.

The internet has been flooded by fake propaganda describing Israel as the aggressor instead of the country that’s been aggressed upon.

When over 1,000 people were massacred in one fell swoop on October 7th, that's equivalent to about 40,000 Americans massacred.

You know what happened when that happened to you. It happened in Pearl Harbor. You had 2,000 Americans killed. You went to World War II, and you knocked out Japan and Germany.

It happened again. In 9/11, you had almost 3,000 Americans butchered in New York. You went into Iraq and to Afghanistan, and you dealt with it.

So Israel obviously received a blow that is 40 times bigger than that. And we defended ourselves in the Seventh Front War.

Christians throughout the Middle East are being oppressed. They’re being driven out.

The only place—the only safe place—for Christians where the Christian community is growing and thriving is in Israel.

They’ve been kicked out of Turkey. They’ve been oppressed in Syria, in Lebanon, and in the areas we handed over to the Palestinians.

I want to see nobody get shot. I want to see nobody screaming and trying to run over policemen either.

That was a vicious situation that took place. She behaved horribly. And then she ran him over.

She didn’t try to run him over. She ran him over.

Well... I — the way I look at it … It’s a terrible scene. I think it’s horrible to watch. No, I hate to see it.

They falsely accuse us of genocide when we have sacrificed our soldiers in taking out terrorist places that we could have just carpet bombed — and we didn’t.
