Trump greenlit the bipartisan Russia sanctions bill that I have been working on for months with Senator Blumenthal and many others.

This bill will allow President Trump to punish those countries who buy cheap Russian oil fueling Putin’s war machine.

This bill would give President Trump tremendous leverage against countries like China, India and Brazil to incentivize them to stop buying the cheap Russian oil that provides the financing for Putin’s bloodbath against Ukraine.

I look forward to a strong bipartisan vote, hopefully as early as next week.

People are being trained and told how to use their vehicles to impede law enforcement operations. Americans deserve better.

The way that we control Venezuela is we control the purse strings, we control the energy resources.

I must say that there's a stain on our relations that has never existed before in our history.

It’s also important to emphasize that the economic and trade relations between the United States and Venezuela are neither extraordinary nor irregular.

71% of Venezuelan exports are concentrated in 8 countries. And of that 71%, 27% are destined for the United States.

Those who have excluded themselves from relations with Venezuela are those who have lent themselves to aggression against our country. It hasn't been Venezuela.

That’s why I've said that Venezuela is not at war. Venezuela is a peaceful country that was attacked by a nuclear power.
