This energy. A angry gathered crowd pushes back a police cruiser on snowy streets at the scene of the police killing tonight. The unidentified man was killed during a traffic stop in the Powderhorn community of #Minneapolis less than a mile from where George Floyd was killed. Although the police claim gunfire was "exchanged, no officers were injured.

Text: George Floyd Square is preparing to welcome protesters from the 36th and Cedar protest in south mpls. We are calling for evac drivers to help transport protesters, people to hold space, and warm drinks and food to feed and care for protesters who need a safe place to hold it down. Per community leaders, this is a sacred space, and we want to make sure it stays that way so people can recover and stay safe.
Reminder.
Minneapolis tonight! #Fuck12

#Portland OR tonight
Covid is running rampant inside prisons and jails nationwide. Authorities refuse to provide even basic protections, overcrowding prisoners and denying them healthcare. This week in McCormick Prison in South Carolina, prisoners staged a rebellion. They broke out of cells, took over 2 wings, and took guards hostage in an effort to get free from a covid death trap.
Here in Dekalb County, inmates are living in horrifying conditions: unsanitary food, water and even air due to disease and mold contamination.
This New Year's Eve, show prisoners that they aren't forgotten. We stand with everyone inside jail and prison walls who fights for a dignified life!

Abolition now. Bring noisemakers, fireworks, lights, and friends. Meet at Kensington MARTA station @ 7 pm

As we near the end of one of the most active years in the history of revolt, it’s important we take time to reflect on the efficacy of tactics—what's worked, what hasn't, and how to improve.
For the next few days, starting with Hong Kong, we’ll be compiling analysis from various demonstrations that have occurred recently for easy referencing.

Demonstrators in Hong Kong have utilized some of the most innovative and resourceful street tactics ever deployed. Arguably most effective, has been their coordination. “Be Water”, for example, has become a symbolic eulogy for movements taking place throughout the world. It describes an unpredictable, yet organized flow of strategic movement that is simultaneously offensive and defensive.
