After ICE agents shot people in Minneapolis tonight, a crowd faced them down and eventually chased them away, despite federal mercenaries and police shooting a tremendous amount of tear gas.
ICE agents abandoned their vehicles in the area, containing IDs, paperwork, license plates, gear, and operational plans.
Demonstrators apparently retrieved these "challenge coins" that ICE mercenaries receive when they kidnap people.
This "coin" is decorated with a skull wearing a crown.
ICE mercenaries serve king death. They are evil incarnate.

All eyes are on the Twin Cities. The heart of Trump's fascist ICE invasion, the kidnapping and brutalization of our friends and neighbors, has been challenged by over 80,000 across Minnesota. Community members are coordinating and working within Rapid Response groups and support networks popping up across the Twin Cities, fighting the pigs and ICE alike, and building towards community defense which can pose a genuine threat not only to ICE, but the entire administration.
Despite their efforts, rapid responders are not awarded a voice of their own in the mainstream media. The resistance of Minnesotans is strengthened through understanding and support across the nation, and the world. To amplify the voices of community members responding to ICE's surge in Minneapolis and St. Paul, and to elevate the spectacular resistance emerging here, comes Minneapolis Spring.
Minneapolis Spring is a volunteer-run collective offering media support for the grassroots movements to defend Minneapolis and St. Paul from the invasion of our state by ICE and allied federal agencies.

“Lots of people are freaking out,” one ICE agent told me. “Agents are getting seriously paranoid, afraid of being targeted by ‘retaliators.’”
Several agents described receiving briefings about retaliatory threats to ICE inspired by the Minneapolis shooting. “Guys take it really serious, like we are fighting insurgents,” as if Minneapolis is Baghdad, an ICE officer said.
Though all of the federal agents I’ve spoken to this weekend support immigration enforcement, they indeed see the Minneapolis operation as something else entirely — an open-ended counterinsurgency in a faraway land and under an out-of-touch leadership in Washington more concerned with optics than immigration.
“This is a no-win situation for agents on the ground or immigration enforcement overall,” a Border Patrol agent said in the private group chat shared with me.
He closed on a plaintive note: “I think it’s time to pull out of Minnesota, that battle is lost.”
“Fuck this,” a senior ICE officer said about the shooting of Pretti.
