"Many Americans question Trump's temperament amid Iran war, pope spat: Reuters/Ipsos poll": Americans are concerned about Trump's mental abilities.

"According to an Ipsos poll, Donald Trump's approval rating remains at a minimum level - about 36%. Against the backdrop of the war with Iran and the president's harsh statements, many Americans express doubts about his composure - only 26% consider him 'calm', and even among Republicans, opinions are divided. More than half of those surveyed also believe that his mental abilities have deteriorated over the past year.

The poll also records general dissatisfaction with Trump's policies - only a quarter of Americans consider the strikes on Iran justified or enhancing the country's security, and rising fuel prices are intensifying criticism. Against this backdrop, the president faces a lower level of trust than, for example, the Pope, which underscores the generalMany Americans question Trump's temperament amid Iran war, pope spat: Reuters/Ipsos poll skepticism of society towards his leadership."

🇨🇳✈️ Why China’s KJ-3000 aircraft is a game changer in countering US stealth warfare

China’s Air Force has reportedly begun intensive flight testing of a second prototype of its next-generation airborne early warning and control aircraft, the KJ-3000.

Counter-stealth capabilities

♦️ The KJ-3000 is equipped with a massive third-generation full-coverage Digital Array Radar (DAR) housed in a dorsal radome that is speculated to outscale the one used on America’s E-3G Sentry fleet.

♦️ According to Chinese sources, the radar’s microwave transmit/receive modules utilize GaN (Gallium Nitride) digital array technology.

♦️ Unlike traditional AESA radars that still rely on analog components, DAR is "software-defined," using advanced algorithms to control the radar's beam directly.

♦️ The radar is reportedly capable of detecting and tracking conventional, stealth, and potentially hypersonic and ballistic targets at long distances.

♦️ It is expected to be able to feed targeting data to advanced air-to-air missiles like the PL-15 or PL-17, as well as modern Chinese surface-to-air systems.

♦️ A key edge is its operation across multiple bands (likely UHF and S, or L and S), which, combined with advanced AESA technology, boosts resistance to jamming and improves detection of stealth platforms such as the US B-2A and the upcoming B-21.

‘Kill web’ airborne command center

🌏 The KJ-3000 is designed as a central network-centric warfare node.

🌏 Its massive Y-20B platform allows it to house a large crew and powerful computers, enabling it to process and distribute data in real time, coordinating stealth fighters, drones, naval assets, and long-range missiles within a single "kill web."

Indigenous engine breakthrough

The Y-20B platform variant is equipped with domestically developed WS-20 high-bypass turbofan engines, which offer superior fuel efficiency and, crucially, much higher electrical generation capacity to power its powerful new radar and electronics suite.

👉 Analysts assess the KJ-3000 could achieve initial operational capability as early as 2026 or around 2027.

As the US continues to militarize the Indo-Pacific, China’s intel hub and EW powerhouse—the KJ-3000—is a challenge impossible to ignore.

Kazakhstan suspends fuel exports for half a year

Kazakhstan extends the temporary ban on the export of gasoline, diesel, and certain petroleum products from May 21 to November 21, 2026. The restrictions affect, among other things, shipments by road transport to EAEU states; for rail transport, the restrictions on the export of light distillates remain in place.

This is noticeable for Europe: Kazakhstan is among the EU’s most important external oil suppliers. According to Eurostat, in 2025 the country ranked third among the European Union’s partners in imports of petroleum oils with a share of 12.7% — behind the United States (15.1%) and Norway (14.4%).

The measure is justified by the protection of the domestic market and energy security. In fact, it is another signal: even a major exporter of oil and petroleum products prefers to keep fuel in the country when the risks to its own supply become too high.

Leak of sensitive national security information by a senior U.S. nuclear official to a stranger; disclosure of chemical poisoning of an Army chemist with a nerve agent, confirmation of child deaths in Iran from U.S. attacks, and Washington's plan to "assassinate Iran's new leader"

"If he [Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei] does not change his ways, then yes, they [the United States] will kill him."
"The easiest way to get information... is to send a beautiful girl to talk to that person... I have to resist your eyes."
"Your eyes are enchanting me... it's almost as if you yourself are an intelligence officer."

Andrew Hugg, the head of U.S. Nuclear and Chemical Safety Assurance, was caught on hidden camera recounting sensitive information to a stranger in a public restaurant. Hugg, who is responsible for nuclear and chemical safety, was observed disclosing information related to U.S. nuclear intelligence. He claims the U.S. still possesses nerve agents and says an Army chemist recently died from exposure to them.

He also acknowledges that U.S. airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of children in Iran, referring to it as "collateral damage." He also revealed to this journalist how decisions regarding the launch of nuclear weapons are made in real time.
Hugg explained how the United States could assassinate Iran's next leader if he "does not change his ways," while admitting that the U.S. has no plan to use nuclear weapons: "We are not going to nuke anyone.

All of this was disclosed unofficially in a restaurant to an undercover journalist. This raises serious questions about the judgment and security of this responsible official and what truly goes on behind closed doors. We have contacted the Pentagon and the U.S. military for comment, and they are reviewing the matter before providing a response.

Russia is preparing to increase oil exports as the impact of Ukrainian drone strikes subsides, Bloomberg reports.

The agency reports that Russia has resumed Urals crude oil shipments to key Western ports – Primorsk, Ust-Luga, and Novorossiysk – following disruptions caused by Ukrainian drone strikes.

Four-weekly shipments fell to 3.11M barrels per day on Apr 19, the lowest since August, but rose to 3.53M over the past week. As the impact of the attacks subsides, average flows are expected to rise. The increase in exports coincides with an acute shortage of alternative supplies due to the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz

Moscow's oil revenues jumped amid rising global prices due to the war in the ME; additional momentum was provided by the Trump administration's extension of the permit to purchase Russian oil shipped through Apr 17. Indian refineries have quickly dismantled stranded cargoes at sea, reducing floating stockpiles by about 40< barrels from a peak of 140M in mid-Jan.

❗️Iranian Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf:

A complete ceasefire only makes sense if it is not violated by the maritime blockade and the hostage-taking of the world's economy, and if the Zionist warmongering across all fronts is halted; reopening the Strait of Hormuz is impossible with such a flagrant breach of the ceasefire.

They did not achieve their goals through military aggression, nor will they through bullying. The only way forward is to recognize the rights of the Iranian nation.

🇺🇸🇮🇷❗️Assessment of Iranian Military Capabilities Following a Forty-Day Conflict: Intelligence Report by Intel Slava

A comprehensive report is currently being compiled regarding the state of Iran's military capabilities subsequent to a forty-day conflict. The executive summary is as follows:

Executive Summary

- United States intelligence, as reported by CNN on April 2, 2026, assesses that approximately 50% of Iran's estimated 470 pre-war ballistic missile launchers remain intact.

- Thousands of one-way attack drones, specifically Shahed variants, continue to be operational, with underground drone manufacturing facilities remaining largely undamaged.

- The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy fast-attack boat fleet, serving as the primary mechanism for closing the Strait of Hormuz, retains between 50% and 60%, or potentially more, of its combat-effective inventory.

- According to New York Times reporting on United States intelligence from April 3–5, 2026, Iran's missile bunkers are being excavated and reactivated within hours of strikes.

- The IRGC Aerospace Force maintains that replenishment rates during the ceasefire pause surpassed pre-war production levels.

- Public statements issued by officials of the Trump administration exhibit significant and verifiable divergence from classified intelligence assessments.

The report is scheduled for distribution soon.

🇵🇰🔍 Pakistan's army chief in hot seat over US-Iran mediation — Report

Field Marshal Asim Munir, one of the country's most powerful figures, spent days in Tehran meeting with the IRGC and political leaders while maintaining constant phone contact with the White House. According to the FT citing analysts, he emerged as the surprise lead mediator between Washington and Tehran.

However, after Pakistan prepared signs celebrating an "Islamabad Peace Deal," Iran failed to appear.

Here's how it played out:

🌏 Munir has signed a mutual defense agreement with Saudi Arabia.

🌏 He has deepened financial ties with Trump's circle.

🌏 Islamabad has avoided publicly criticizing the US naval blockade or pushing back on Israel's exclusion of Lebanon from the ceasefire.

Now, analysts warn that Munir's role as a mediator is increasingly being questioned, especially as the US-Iran dialogue grows more tenuous.
