The creative direction of soak vol 2 draws inspiration from the legacy of Maud Wagner — the first widely known woman to be fully covered in tattoos. An encounter with her image directly influenced the release artwork.

Extending from that inspiration, we developed an alternative visual piece: a ‘merging’ of her tattooed silhouette with the soak entity, resulting in a state of petrified transmutation.

This figure reflects both ‘empty’ presence of awareness and ‘concrete’ qualities of the experience it’s aware of: scar-like tattoos carved into the statue’s ‘reflexive’ field 🔁

This transmuted form now anchors soak’s debut merch drop:

Finally, we are also releasing ‘chubby’ keytags — equipping them with a flash drive engraved with a custom designer marking. The flash drive includes soak vol 2 digital album & the artwork.
