Another way to socialize and stay healthyπ£
Last weekend, a group of cool devs and me went hiking to κ³Όλμ° β°
Meet the most chaotic hiking guide in Korea - Botir akaπ π₯
He prefers trails where no human foot has ever steppedπ
and he always picks the hardest path, no matter whatπ
But I had a blastπ₯ Definitely was worth it π―

Met a lot of cool people today and even learned more about UzCosmosπ₯
Great vibes, great energyβ‘
So many people with interesting stories, some want to level up their hard skills, others just want to learn how to negotiate a better salary, and everyone has their own journeyπΌ
Who knows, someday I might even start personally helping people with salary negotiations.
Weβll seeπ

My year-end recap.
2025 has been one of the most intense and successful years of my lifeπ₯
Hereβs what happened this year:
- Participated in 100+ developer meetupsπ₯
- Worked with IBM and used their Watson X AI platform
- Joined 4 hackathons and won 1st place twiceπ₯
- Received the highest offer from a Korean companyπ° (120mln KRW), and rejected it π«
- Switched to 100% remote workπΌ
- Moved into a new 140+γ‘ apartment
- Took 17 international flightsβοΈ
- Got promoted within 6 months at Salmonπ
- Switched from Kia K5 to Genesis G80π
- Got married (most importantlyπ )
- Gave 6 interviews in Uzbekπ±
- Presented twice at the Embassy of Uzbekistan
- Met hundreds of talented/successful peopleπ€
- Grew my annual income to 150mln+ KRWπ²
- Won the Incheon Startup Challengeπ
- Co-founded a medical AI startup
- Pitched to VCs for the first time (and learned a huge amount of new things along the way)π
- Started mentoring students at Habsida
- and more smaller stuff like witnessing Hans Zimmerβs work/music in real life, Ludovico Einaudi, attendingπ± TEDx, etc.
I achieved things I didnβt even imagine a year ago, and Iβm truly grateful to my friends, family, and network for all the supportπ
For the first time ever, Iβm ending the year with zero unfinished goals on my list.
Definitely, Iβm a bit tired now, so I want a short break. Yet, thinking about everything I accomplished makes me excited for whatβs coming next.
More cool stuff coming soonπ

Code freeze βοΈ
One interesting thing about product companies is code freeze.
In my current company, code freeze starts this week and lasts until January.
During this period, we donβt push any code to productionβοΈ π»
The end of the year is the most profitable time. People spend more money, and banks (and other businesses) donβt want to risk losing revenue because of bugs or changes.
So in December, 3 good things are happening at Salmonπ
1. No work from December 24 till January 4π
2. No code releases. Calm and stable life π¦¦
3. December salary comes this weekπΈ
Not badπ
This is also another good reason to improve your skills and aim for remote work.
Yes, finding a remote role is harder, but itβs very possibleπͺ
This is another topic for another postπ

Since itβs the end of the year, there are almost no Jira tasks at work, and I finally have more free time π₯
I went to the 2025 Global Scale-up Campus Performance Sharing & Year-End Networking Night in Incheon todayπ
Didnβt really network that much, but getting out of the house already felt refreshingπ
