Soft skills are as important as tech skills. You can be a great tech guy, but you need to communicate that to people

#sidebusiness

A small step towards a big goal 🚀

My superpower is networking.
Somehow, I always know someone who knows someone who needs something I can do 😎

Doing my best to monetize my software development skills as much as I can.

Just sent out my first price quotation for work 💼, and it got approved
The content is simple, just like the services I provide for that money.

The full story is longer than just one Telegram post, but in short, it’s a very good deal, where both (client and me) are winning 🤝

When I imagine that one day, I’m going back to a Korean company again, my brain instantly starts generating every possible way to make money outside the corporate rat race 😅

Finally found some time for Telegram texting 😁
I’m in Manila right now ✈️

Last week was super busy, we’ve been working hard on the platform I’m building together with my Head of Dev in Korea. And on top of that, we also joined the AngelHack hackathon where we built the MVP of our project in just one weekend 💻👨‍💻

One thing that really surprised me: I’m seeing more and more developers from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan at these events. Out of 32 teams at AngelHack, 7-8 were from Central Asia, 1/4! 🤯🔥
I really hope this number keeps growing, because hackathons make you level up in every way: professionally, mentally, and socially. Offline hackathons are the best way to improving as a software engineer.

One of the teams from our community actually took 2nd place! Akmal Makhmudov's team nailed it with their app 🔥

For now, I’m back to work and already scheduling a lot of things for 2026. My management knows that my next goal is to become a Lead Software Engineer, which is why I came on this business trip.

Let’s see how things go. 2026 already feels like another year of growth 🚀

Here we go ⚡️

This is actually the main reason I came to the Philippines this time.

There’s a lot happening in our dev team right now.
I want to plan for all the upcoming changes, but at the same time I’m trying not to stress if things don’t go exactly the way I expect 😁

Flying to Boracay soon to recharge 🏝, and then it’s back to Korea next week 🇵🇭✈️🇰🇷
