🔥From IELTS 7 to 730 in English in Just Over 2 Months
Many people have already worked on either section of the SAT (Math or English) and want to focus on just one subject.
Abdulxay is one of the prime examples of that.
He joined @satashkent on March 31 in the Silliman Community for English classes only.
With Mr. Husan, he studied for one month until the end of the Silliman Community program.
Afterward, with the @satashkent community, he prepared for the test on his own, following the study plan Husan created for his June exam.
The rest?

My SAT Journey
My SAT journey started in March. While I was researching SAT prep communities, I was recommended to go to SATashkent by its alumni. I looked up the results of SATashkent students and felt that going there was the best choice at that time. Despite being only in 9th grade and having just a 7 in IELTS, I set a goal to achieve 700+ in the English section so I could superscore 1500+. After my first visit to the administration, I understood that the process would be intense.
When I first went to SATashkent, I was asked about my current English and Math levels. At that time, I had only 520 in EBRW and 780 in Math. So I decided to study only English. I asked for a 700+ group, and I was recommended a trial lesson with Husan aka. During my first lesson with him, I was afraid of being underestimated by others, as their English level was much higher than mine. But I liked the way he taught and decided to stay in that group. I was surprised by the name of my group—Silliman. After googling it, I found out that SATashkent names groups after colleges, which I thought was quite good as it motivates students.
I remember my first practice test. Honestly, it was really bad; I scored only 560 in English, which was still quite a bit higher than my first-month exam. I was quite disappointed. However, I talked with Husan aka, and he gave me some advice. What I found really helpful was his suggestion to keep an error log. Then I started doing everything he advised. That way, I started to see improvement.
What I found really interesting about Husan aka’s group were the punishments he had. Every time, I tried my best not to have to do push-ups or go up and down the stairs three times when the center was on the 7th floor. Otherwise, I knew I’d become a kachok 😂 before my exam.
On May 2nd, one day before my groupmates’ exams, we officially ended our lessons. However, we didn’t lose touch. I had to self-study until my own exam, so I tried to review everything Husan aka had taught me.
On June 7th, I realized I’d made a silly mistake in note-taking, and I completely lost hope of even scoring 700. But fortunately, my score was 730, which I had never expected. I really want to thank Husan aka and the SATashkent community for helping me achieve my dream score.
SATashkent is the best.

Congratulations to Madina for scoring 1490 (700/790) on her first attempt in the June exam!
We were aware that Syracuse and Mean Communities (her group names) were struggling to keep up, failing internal exams. But thanks to the dedication and hard work of our community members and students—and with Mr. Jamshid and Mr. Abdulaziz’s help—they made it.

“When I first decided to study for the SAT, I couldn’t even think of any place except SATashkent. That’s why I just called my friend, and we immediately contacted the reception to sign up for lessons. During the first month, I struggled a lot. Grammar seemed really hard since I didn’t even know there were so many nuances in English. My ego before studying there was pretty high because IELTS had made me think English was easier than it actually is.
I tried to submit all the homework the teachers assigned us, even when I was truly exhausted. My teachers would probably say I’m exaggerating (and they’re right). During the second and third months, I finally started to understand most of the concepts we reviewed in lessons. But when reading practice started, I was ready to give up on the SAT. Those truly boring, long texts just made me want to fall asleep every time I looked at them.
But I always reminded myself: practice, analyze, practice again. I kept going because I didn’t want to disappoint my teachers, my parents, or myself. No matter what, Mr. Jamshid always tried to explain topics really clearly so everyone could understand. His lessons were interactive, and he was honestly the most patient teacher I’ve ever met. Even when our group was falling behind, he still encouraged us to aim for high scores. By the third month, when we supposedly should have been ready for the exam, he never gave up on us. In the end, almost everyone in our group achieved the scores they wanted.
As for math, the lessons were truly memorable, too. I feel like Mr. Abdulaziz combined both fun and productivity in his classes, and it worked. I completely lost my motivation when my first Bluebook score was 720, while almost everyone else got 750+ or even 800. But time passed, and I realized that if I practiced hard questions, all the questions on the actual exam would feel easy. It apparently worked. I knew exactly how to solve every type of question I encountered on the exam.
By the way, on my second-to-last Bluebook practice test, I got the exact same score as on the real exam—even the sections matched.
I believe anyone could get a much higher score than I did if they really try. The main thing is to use everything SATashkent provides: all the materials, the study zone, the teachers’ support, and the motivation.”
Thank you Madina for your hard-work and your parents, friends supporting you. It is the beginning of your success!

When Amirkhan started his SAT journey with the student-led Qareken Academy, he quickly jumped from 1300 to a 1470 on practice tests. But after that early progress, self-studying hit a wall - balancing school and prep made the consistency hard to achieve.
That’s when he applied for a full scholarship to our speedrun SAT prep program, launched in collaboration with @unlockuz. It was short, intensive - and exactly what he needed.
His goal was a 1530. His result? 1550.

I started my SAT journey in the beginning of this year when I joined Qareken Academy, courses run by students from my school. I saw great progress during the course, going from a ~1300 to a 1470 scored in a practice test. I'd also attribute my introduction to the SAT to them. After two months at Qareken Academy, I decided to try self-studying. However, for me, the process was mediocre at best. For the next month or so, I was juggling my schoolwork and SAT prep, with the latter usually not being focused on a lot. Then, when SATashkent announced their scholarship system with @unlockuz for self-studying students, I didn't hesitate to apply. I didn't know it at the time, but this would be a game-changer.
I was pretty intimidated by the number of lessons at first: there were 6 lessons per week, each one about 2 hours. The reason was that I had my Cambridge exams starting at the end of the month, and I still had plenty of preparation to do.
The lessons were amazing, however. My English teachers, Mr.Donobek and Mr.Muhammadsodiq, and my Math Teachers, Mr.Shoxrux and Mr.Behruz, were all very insightful and would clearly explain every question that we struggled with in our homework. I made it a habit to note down the new insights I gained from the lessons, and, by the end, it would turn into a long list of tips and tricks that would end up helping me out a lot. During the lessons, we'd use the books released by SATashkent. During personal study, I'd use SATashkent's test-taking platform. Thanks to SATashkent for providing these amazing opportunities!!
I was actually planning to take the exam in May. Now, it doesn't take a fool to realize that, with the number of important school exams coming up, deciding to take the May test would probably hurt my performance in those exams. So, when I found out that there were no seats left for the May test, I probably should've been happy about it. I ,of course, was disappointed at first, but then decided to register for June. During May, I had a tooon of free time and with this new mindset of "Oh, I still have a month left", I ended up mostly wasting it (in terms of SAT prep, at least). It was in the last two weeks that I dialed up my prep intensity and made significant progress. My last practice test score actually matched my real test score)
When applying to SATashkent, I set 1530 as my dream score. Dreams come true if you work hard enough, and thanks to SATashkent for making dreams a reality❤️
