The International Program "Mission Dobro" has ended in India

With the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India, "Mission Dobro" took place, which lasted from November 10 to 19.
We sincerely thank our veterinary volunteers: Anastasia Kozich, Daria Klekovkina, Elina Efimova, Ulyumzha Erdnenov, Svetlana Karamushkina and Pavel Strochkov for their selfless work, for saving more than a dozen animals that were helped.
Among the volunteers are experienced oncology surgeons, anesthesiologists, orthopedic surgeons, who worked without days off, trying to help every homeless animal.
For two weeks, Russian volunteers worked in several Indian shelters for homeless animals: "Рaws pet boarding", "Nandi Seva trust" and "SPCA Noida", where they collected anamnesis of life and illness of patients and determined further plans for providing targeted assistance to animals.
Veterinarians examined cattle - sacred cows, bulls, buffaloes, as well as cats and dogs. During the study of animal diseases, the main problems were: gastrointestinal disorders, exhaustion, wounds, electric shocks, injuries after accidents, burns, oncology.
Volunteers of "Mission Dobro" performed operations with complex fractures, spinal surgeries, tumor removal, vaccinations.
With the assistance of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in India, a meeting of Russian veterinary volunteers with representatives of the Indian veterinary association "Sava Delhi" was also held, where the parties agreed on further cooperation. Russian veterinarians will also share their experience with Indian specialists in modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of animals.

With the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India, a theatrical evening was held with the production of the Indian play "Ijaazat", based on the story of the famous Russian writer Vasily Shukshin, translated into Hindi by Mr Ved Kumar Sharma and directed by Mr Ramesh Khanna.
The Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India Dr Elena Remizova addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
The book "Tales of the Heart" by Mrs Zarina Kanukova, a playwright from Nalchik, was also presented that evening.
The book was translated into Hindi. Based on one of the plays included in the collection, director Ramesh Khanna staged a performance, the performance took place that same evening.
Separately, translator Mr Ved Kumar Sharma was noted, thanks to whom the texts of Vasily Shukshin and Mrs Zarina Kanukova sounded in Hindi. It is worth noting that the poet, writer, editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Goryanka" Zarina Kanukova is the author of 10 books, writes in her native Kabardino-Circassian language, translates texts into Russian and promotes her works at the international level.
The event was attended by Indian cultural figures, diplomats, students of Indian universities and compatriots.

With the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India, a lecture by philosopher and political scientist Mr Alexander Dugin, "Bharat as the State-Civilization: Geopolicy and Ideology," was held at the Russian House in New Delhi.
In his speech, Professor Dugin noted that Indian civilization is currently on the rise, which is changing the parameters of relations between Russia and India.
"In principle, a new format for our dialogue should now be organized. A dialogue between Russian conservatives, supporters of our traditional values, and Indian conservatives. This is the main frame, if you like, of my visit. This is a meeting of conservatives of two states-civilizations," Dugin said.
He also touched on the topic of BRICS in the system of international relations. According to Dugin, BRICS has become a civilizational union of humanity on an equal basis.
At the end of the event, Professor Dugin answered many questions.

The president of the charity organization "Food of Life" Mr Valery Dolgopolov spoke to the audience, telling about the activities of volunteers and the fact that on a daily basis they try to provide the necessary assistance to more than 1000 local residents left without a comfortable minimum for existence.
The multimedia exhibition "Donbass. Volunteers. Stories" was a photo story about young volunteers of Donbass and deceased volunteers.
Starting in February 2022, volunteers of the charity organization "Food of Life" leave their families, take a vacation and go to help local residents of the frontline zone of Donbass. Volunteers cook hot meals, bake bread and go to places where there is no peace to help the elderly and children.
At the end of the event, a documentary film "Heroes Among Us" was shown, dedicated to the volunteers who died in Donbass. The film was shot by volunteers of "Food of Life", who distribute humanitarian aid to civilians in Donbass.
The event was attended by Indian public figures, diplomats, compatriots, schoolchildren and students.

The meeting of world thinkers has ended in Kolkata

With the assistance of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Kolkata and the International Society for Intercultural Research and Development (ISISAR), the meeting of world thinkers was opened in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

Two students from Rashtriya Raksha University, Parihar Smruti Rahul and Raje Shriniwas Gunwant, recently completed a two-week internship at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in New Delhi under the mentorship of Russian instructor Yulia Aleshkina. During the program, the interns explored the nuances of Russian grammar, enriched their vocabulary, participated in a grammar workshop, and engaged in cultural events at the Russian House.
Plans are underway to organize similar internships for students from Indian universities studying Russian in the near future.

On December 3, the premiere of the play "The Threepenny Opera" based on the play of the same name by German playwright Bertolt Brecht, staged by Russian director, GITIS teacher Natalia Shurganova, who arrived in India, took place.
