The Russian house in New Delhi handed over a batch of Russian language textbooks and fiction to the Indian school "Bluebells," where they study the syllable of Pushkin and Chekhov. Among the 33 titles of Russian printed materials are books for teachers, workbooks, dictionaries, test workshops, as well as CDs.
The ceremony of transferring literature to a long-time partner of the Russian House was timed to coincide with the 65th anniversary of the founding of the educational institution. Currently, Bluebells has 1875 students, and six foreign languages are studied at the school.
Suman Kumar, a member of the Board of Directors, noted the importance of replenishing the school's storerooms with printed publications from Russia, since they are "written, decorated and published in Russian civilization, accurate in all the details of the language and have a unique foreign flavor."
