The Victory Banner raised in Kolkata
The Russian House in Kolkata joined the memorial patriotic event "Victory Banner". As part of the campaign, banners are placed on the facades of buildings before the Victory Day.
On May 1, 1945, the Banner was raised by the Soviet army on the Reichstag building in Berlin. The Victory banner, made under battlefield conditions, is the official symbol of the Victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany during the Second World War.
The organizers of the campaign are the Immortal Regiment of India, the Indian Association of Russian Compatriots with the assistance of the Russian House in Kolkata.

Русский дом в Калькутте присоединился к мемориальной патриотической акции "Знамя Победы". В рамках акции проводится размещение знамён на фасадах зданий в преддверии Дня Победы.
1 мая 1945 года над Рейхстагом был водружён штурмовой флаг 150-й ордена Кутузова II степени Идрицкой
стрелковой дивизии.
Организаторы акции - Бессмертный полк Индии, Индийская ассоциация российских соотечественников при содействии Русского дома в Калькутте.
