Indian citizens and Russian compatriots took part in the Geographical Dictation in Kolkata
🌏 On 19 November 2023, the Russian House in Kolkata became one of 10625 sites in the world, participating in this educational event.
The Geographical Dictation is an annual education campaign, organized by the Russian Geographical Society. It is held annually on all the continents and even in space, at the International Space Station. 🚀 Website of the project: https://dictant.rgo.ru/en
Irina Malysheva, responsible organizer of the site, demonstrated the video address of the Russian cosmonauts from the space station and the greetings from the other unusual sites - at the Progress research station in Antarctica, on the Mount Elbrus (at an altitude of 3912 m), on the Vostochny Cosmodrome, on board the nuclear icebreaker "Siberia".
✅️ Participants had 1 hour to work on the Geographical Dictation, after which they have been awarded the certificates on participation and interacted with Sergey Shushin, head of the Russian House in Kolkata, who congratulated them on the accomplishment.
