✅ Russia supplied more than 130 tons of refined sunflower oil to Sri Lanka
Humanitarian assistance was provided as part of the Russian contribution to the UN World Food Program. Earlier in September 2023, Moscow donated more than 350 tons of sunflower oil enriched with vitamins A and D to the people of the island.
The delivery of humanitarian aid was attended by Russian Ambassador Levan Dzhagaryan, senior officials of Sri Lanka, head of the Russian House in Colombo Maria Popova and senior diplomats of the embassy.

The Russian Ocean Way round-the-world expedition is heading for Phuket 🗺️
Siberian researchers continue along the route: on January 19, travelers completed the transition from Jakarta to the island of Batam. The crew encountered bad weather with squally winds and rain. Along the way, the ship made a stop at the harbor of the Muntok settlement on Bangka Island. There they renewed the fuel in the cans and changed the oil.
And on January 21, the team left Batam and headed to the island of Phuket 🏝️
The project is supported by the Presidential Grants Fund.

International students of the Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod and other Russian and foreign universities, students of foreign schools, and students of Russian as a foreign language courses are invited to participate in the Olympiad.
To participate, you should fill out the registration form on the website by March 1, 2024 https://www.unn.ru/site/olimp/lobachevsky-ru /, as well as complete the online task of the first stage.
Join the participants and become one of the 26 lucky ones who will be able to study for a master's degree for free within the quota of the Russian Government.

✈️A humanitarian aid plane for Palestinian refugees took off from Moscow
📦Medicines, personal hygiene products and food made up the total load from the team of the “Peoples Together - Through the Years” project for the residents of Palestine. The national and cultural autonomies of the Volgograd region, led by the public organization “House of Friendship,” joined the collection of humanitarian aid. The delivery of the cargo was ensured by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, and active volunteer support was provided by university students in the city of Volgograd.
✅The project is being implemented by the Volgograd “House of Friendship” together with the FADN of Russia and the House of Peoples of Russia with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo and the “Russia with you” project, which tells foreign citizens about the activities of the Russian Federation in the field of promoting international development.

📦Медикаменты, средства личной гигиены и продовольствие составили общий груз от команды проекта «Народы вместе - сквозь года» для жителей Палестины. Доставку груза обеспечило МЧС России, активную волонтерскую поддержку оказали студенты вузов города Волгограда.

🔥 Russian scientists from Lomonosov Moscow State University created an innovative technology that will extend the service life of gas sensors
The development uses a new method of producing thin-film microheaters. The invention will make them more resistant to temperature effects, which will extend the life of the devices.
The created sensors can be used in the future both in industry and at home to detect leaks of flammable gases.

By 2026, more than 2 800 specialists in the pedagogical sphere and the information technology industry from the DPR will be trained under the "Professionalitet" program. Also, in the next two years, new educational clusters are planned to be opened in the republic in the following areas: "Tourism and services", "Construction", "Agriculture", "Metallurgy".
