Registration for the MGIMO International School Olympiad
On September 23, registration for participants in the MGIMO International School Olympiad began on the website https://int-olymp-mgimo.com/
The competition for foreign applicants will be held for the 3rd time and will allow them to enter MGIMO on a budget.
Over the 2 years of the Competition, more than 4,000 participants were able to test their knowledge, dozens of them are now studying at MGIMO.
Knowledge will be tested:
🟣 Russian and English languages
🟣 general erudition in the fields of geography, world history and international relations.

Students of rhe Moscow State Institute of Foreign Affairs visited the Russian House
On January 31, the Institute of Russian Language, Russian House in Kolkata organised an interactive session with the students of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, headed by Prof.Irina Prokofieva.
Sergey Shushin, Vice Consul and Director of Russian House in Kolkata gave a welcome address which was followed by speech of Prof Prokofieva about the importance and relevance of learning a foreign language.

31 января Институт русского языка при Русскои доме в Калькутте организовал интерактивную сессию со студентами МГИМО под руководством профессора Ирины Прокофьевой.
Сергей Шушин, вице-консул и директор Русского дома в Калькутте, выступил с приветственным словом, за которым последовала речь проф. Прокофьевой о важности и актуальности изучения иностранного языка.

🇷🇺🇮🇳On January 30, a group of #Russian students, who learn #Bengali and #Hindi languages at #MGIMO University along with Prof. Irina Prokofieva, visited St. Joan's School, where they met Principal Mrs. Debjani Ghosh as well as participated in the fascinating cultural exchange program.
🪕🕺The #students of this school have prepared a great number of incredible musical and dance #performances. School teacher Arnita Chaterjee taught MGIMO students an Indian dance named "Rabindra Nritya" on Rabindranath Tagore's song "Aaji Shubhodine".
🎸Russian students also surprised local audience by performing live legendary Bengali songs - "Dhitang Dhitang Bole" and "Ami Banglai Gaan Gai", the last of which they sang also partly in Russian, with its translation having been made by them as well.
😊🙏The Russian Consulate General in #Kolkata expresses its sincere gratitude to the leadership of St. Joan's School for such a heartwarming reception of our students as well as MGIMO students for their brilliant musical improvisation.

- 1 place for undergraduate programs;
- 1 place for graduate programs;
The number of applicants for participation in the selection is not limited, but applicants who have scored the highest score on the results of the entrance examinations will be accepted for training.
In 2025, MGIMO also plans to conduct entrance examinations for foreign citizens for undergraduate programs in two waves.
The first will be held in May 2025, the second - in June 2025.

Московский государственный институт международных отношений (Университет) Министерства иностранных дел Российской Федерации приглашает принять участие в конкурсе для обучения за счет ассигнований федерального бюджета Российской Федерации граждан Индии в 2025 году.
- 1 место по программам бакалавриата;
- 1 место по программам магистратуры;
Количество претендентов для участия в отборе не ограничивается, однако на обучение будут приняты абитуриенты, набравшие наивысший балл по итогам вступительных испытаний.
В 2025 году МГИМО также планирует проводить вступительные испытания для иностранных граждан на программы бакалавриата в две волны.
Первая - будет проходить в мае 2025 г., вторая - в июне 2025 г.
