The conference was dedicated to the admission of Russian compatriots to the universities of Russia under the state scholarship rogram. It was organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo and the World Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots (VKSRS).
Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Dmitry Polikanov delivered a welcoming speech.
The conference was attended by: Deputy Director of the DRS of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ivan Nechaev, Chief Advisor of the Department for Multilateral Humanitarian Cooperation and Cultural Relations of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mark Kalinin, members of the VKSRS and representatives of the KSORS in the CIS countries, Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.

Темой конференции стала организация работы по проведению квотной кампании Россотрудничеством
в рамках установленной квоты на образование в России иностранных граждан и лиц без гражданства, в том числе соотечественников; место и роль КСОРС в квотной кампании. Организаторы онлайн-встречи — Россотрудничество и Всемирный координационный совет российских соотечественников (ВКСРС).
С приветственным словом обратился заместитель руководителя Россотрудничества Дмитрий Поликанов.
В конференции приняли участие: замдиректора ДРС МИД России Иван Нечаев, главный советник Департамента по многостороннему гуманитарному сотрудничеству и культурным связям МИД России Марк Калинин, члены ВКСРС и представители КСОРС в странах СНГ, Европы, Азии, Латинской Америки, Африки и Ближнего Востока.
