Volunteers from all over the world are invited to participate in the International Award #WeAreTogether. The competition will evaluate the contribution of foreign citizens and organizations to solving important humanitarian problems.

This year, the main theme of the international track of the award is "Social change through volunteering". The competition will be held in three categories: "Ecology and sustainable development", "Healthcare and emergency response", "Equal opportunities and social justice".

The award ceremony for the winners of the award will be held from December 5 to 7 within the framework of the International Forum of Civil Participation #WeAreTogether.

Why are volunteering and humanitarian programs actively developing in the 21st century? And how has the "third sector" become a pillar of public diplomacy? This will be discussed at the #WEARETOGETHER Civil Participation Forum, which will take place in Moscow from December 4 to 8.

The open dialogue “International humanitarian cooperation: vectors of development in modern realities” will be held in partnership with Rossotrudnichestvo.

"The role of civil society is growing in modern international relations. Russia has thousands of socially-oriented NGOs that have the world's best technologies for helping people and can be an effective instrument of humanitarian influence. I’m sure that within the framework of the forum they will be able to find foreign partners and exchange experience. And our task is to make as few barriers to this as possible," said Dmitry Polikanov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo.

In total, the forum will bring together more than 10,000 people from all regions of Russia and 40 other countries. Participants will also discuss the role of volunteering in personal education, trends in digital media space, interaction between parents and teenagers, prospects for mentoring, and much more.
