Russian State School for Circus and Variety Arts

The State school for circus and variety arts is the world’s first professional institution of circus education and the only state institution in Russia that for more than 95 years has successfully educated certified circus artists who perform all around the world.

Nowadays the State school for circus and variety arts prepares circus artists who perform in various genres: acrobatics, gymnastics, juggling, equilibristics, musical eccentrics and unique genres. More than 5,000 certified specialists of all circus and variety arts genres have graduated from the school since its establishment.

For many years artists from Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Holland, Japan, Australia, France, Austria, Mongolia, Laos, Poland, Yugoslavia, Vietnam, Hungary, Cambodia and other countries have come to the State school for circus and variety arts for training and education. The teachers at our school helped to establish circus schools in Mongolia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Germany, Vietnam, Laos and Cuba.

of foreign students who have received a school leaving certificate to
study a full-tuition state-funded scholarship in the 2025/2026 academic
year.

Upon admission, a creative competition is held.
Enrolment – 10 students
The duration of the programme – 3 years and 10 months.
✅️ There is no tuition fee. Students receive a monthly scholarship. All students are provided with the student dormitory.

🇷🇺 Highlights of "Hello, Russia!" project of this summer

✔️Use advanced technologies in everyday life, learn the art of Ossetian dances, get acquainted with the achievements of the great rally team in motorsports and sit behind the wheel of a KamAZ prepared for Dakar - all this and much more was possible for young compatriots who became participants in the "Hello, Russia!" program in 2024.

The best tourist activities were prepared for them in different Russian regions: in Kazan, Moscow, Pskov region, in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, in the Republic of Crimea, Samara region, in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra.

🧬 Thus, in Moscow, researchers immersed themselves in the world of genetics, selection, botany. The laboratories of the technopark of the Phystech Lyceum named after P.L. Kapitsa were seething with new ideas of the young generation in the field of agronomy. The participants of the trip also learned about the impact of artificial intelligence and neural networks on everyday life and how to use new technologies to create digital products and exciting content.

Young Russian compatriots from different countries also visited Artek, where they became not only participants, but also winners of the "Big Change" competition.

⭐️ In North Ossetia, the children were able to enjoy local cuisine, learn folk dance, and try themselves as blacksmiths. The mountain ranges and pristine nature of the region won the hearts of travelers.

In the Pskov region, young people visited the cradle of the famous Russian writer A.S. Pushkin - in the Mikhailovskoye Museum-Reserve. It was here that Alexander Sergeevich created such works as: "Eugene Onegin", the tragedy "Boris Godunov", the poem "Count Nulin" and others.

😍 Now all the participants have returned home, and we continue to remember how it was.

✔️ Использовать передовые технологии в повседневной жизни, обучиться искусству осетинских танцев, познакомиться с достижениями великой раллийной команды в автоспорте и посидеть за рулем подготовленного КамАЗа для Дакара — все это и многое другое смогли сделать юные соотечественники, которые стали участниками программы «Здравствуй, Россия!» в 2024 году.

Для них были подготовлены лучшие туристические активности в разных российских регионах: в Казани, Москве, Псковской области, в Республике Северная Осетия-Алания, в Республике Крым, Самарской области, в Ханты-Мансийском автономном округе-Югре.

🧬 Так, в Москве исследователи погружались в мир генетики, селекции, ботаники. Лаборатории технопарка Физтех-лицея имени П.Л. Капицы кипели новыми идеями молодого поколения в области агрономии. Участники заезда также узнали о влиянии искусственного интеллекта и нейросетей на повседневную жизнь и о том, как использовать новые технологии для создания цифровых продуктов и увлекательного контента.

Юные соотечественники из разных стран также побывали в Артеке, где стали не только участниками, но и победителями конкурса «Большая перемена».

⭐️ В Северной Осетии ребята смогли насладиться блюдами местной кухни, изучить народный танец, а также попробовать себя в роли кузнецов. Покорили сердца путешественников горные массивы и девственная природа региона.

В Псковской области молодежь побывала в колыбели знаменитого русского писателя А.С. Пушкина — в музее-заповеднике «Михайловское». Именно здесь Александр Сергеевич создавал такие произведения, как: «Евгений Онегин», трагедия «Борис Годунов», поэма «Граф Нулин» и другие.

😍 Сейчас все участники вернулись домой, а мы продолжаем вспоминать, как это было.
