🧐 Horned kika (or kichka)
The headdress covered the entire hairstyle - a married woman should not show her hair to strangers. The horns could be both small and impressive - up to 20-30 cm - depending on the age of the woman and her marital status. It was believed that the horns protected from the evil eye.

📿 Beads
Large beads were usually strung on thread or horsehair. Different materials were used to make them: glass, metal or stone. According to legend, beads protected against evil spirits.

😍 Peasant earrings
Until the 16th century, earrings were not particularly popular. However, later they were worn not only by women, but also by men. The latter are used as a talisman. For some time, the peasant with one earring in his ear showed his belonging to the owner.

🔗 Useryazi
Temporal rings with wire or diamond-shaped patterns were attached to a headdress or to a ribbon, woven into the hair, and worn on the ears.

📿 Бусы
Крупные бусины обычно нанизывали на нить или конский волос. Для их изготовления брали разные материалы: стекло, металл или камень.

😍 Крестьянские серьги
До XVI века серьги не пользовались особой популярностью. Однако позже их носили не только женщины, но и мужчины. Последние – в качестве оберега.

🔗 Усерязи
Височные кольца с проволокой или узорами в виде ромба крепили на головной убор или к ленте, вплетали в волосы, носили на ушах.

The 12th century swan-temple is on the UNESCO heritage list. The building has hardly survived to this day: in the XVIII century people wanted to dismantle the church and make a new bell tower from the stone. But the workers asked for such a high fee that it was decided to keep the church and it was even restored.
 
🪆 Museums
 
There are unusual museums in the city. For example, spoon, jam, gingerbread, unconceived stories (the collection includes elements of everyday life of the XIX-XX centuries, objects of unusual purpose and others).
 
☕️ Coffee house and workshop “Mayak” 
 
Just imagine: aromas of arabica, vintage furniture, hand-painted walls, interior attributes brought from travels. Food and drinks are served here in earthenware. You can also take part in master classes and mold any object.

Лебедь-храм XII века входит в список наследия ЮНЕСКО. Здание с трудом сохранилось до наших дней: в XVIII веке церковь хотели разобрать, а из камня сделать новую колокольню. Но рабочие запросили настолько высокую плату, что храм решили оставить и даже отреставрировали.

В городе есть необычные музеи. Например, ложки, варенья, пряника, непридуманных историй (в коллекции — элементы быта XIX-XX веков, предметы необычного назначения и другие).
