Kozma Minin Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University (Minin University) has a long history and rich traditions. The Teachers’ Institute was founded in Nizhny Novgorod in 1911 and nowadays three fourths of teachers in Nizhny Novgorod region are Minin University graduates. Besides, there are psychologists and linguists, engineers and managers, artists and designers among our students. Nowdays Minin University is actively developing in order to meet modern requirements and educational standards, to meet people’s needs of lifelong learning, to correspond to relevant objectives of social and national development.
Minin University is also developing international cooperation and successfully realize various joint educational, scientific and cultural projects with Asia and European partner universities.
Nowadays, students from more than 30 countries are studying at the University. Collaboration between Russian and Indian universities was discussed at the IIT Kharagpur.
Andrey Kondratiev, CEO of CDO Global, representatives of the Russia India Special Interest Group (RISING), an initiative of Chamber for Indo-Russian technology collaboration partnership with RUSSOFT Association and (Technological Sovereignty Exports Association) had a meeting at the IIT Kharagpur to promote common academic collaboration between the two countries.
The discussion was attended by the Director of IIT Kharagpur, Prof V K Tiwari and Deans and senior professors from the institute to proliferate areas of mutual cooperation between IIT and some of the Russian institutes.
IIT Kharagpur (Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur), established in 1951, is the oldest and largest IIT in India offering world-class education and research opportunities across disciplines. It is one of the most premier institutes in the country and is recognized globally for its quality of students, talents, faculty, alumni, and research output in Science & Technology, Humanities & Social Science, and Management.
IIT has been in discussion with some of the premier Universities in Russia with an objective to develop common areas of collaboration, which are of strategic importance to both nations, such as, Energy, Healthcare, Cybersecurity, AI and Analytics, Management and leadership for the new world order, etc.
