The authors of outstanding achievements and projects in the fields of science and culture, preservation and popularization of natural and historical-cultural heritage, expeditionary and educational activities raised the “geographical Oscars” made of crystal and silver above their heads. Representatives of Russia, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, India, France and Great Britain gathered in Moscow.

В Москве 30 мая наградили лауреатов национальной премии «Хрустальный компас». Яркая церемония, на которой стали известны имена обладателей заветных статуэток, прошла в одном из крупнейших в нашей стране культурных центров — международном Доме музыки.
«Географические „Оскары“» из хрусталя и серебра подняли над головой авторы выдающихся достижений и проектов в области науки и культуры, сохранения и популяризации природного и историко-культурного наследия, экспедиционной и просветительской деятельности. В зале на Космодамианской набережной столицы собрались представители России, Сербии, Азербайджана, Казахстана, Кыргызстана, Индии, Франции и Великобритании.
