The educational potential of Russia, its culture and cuisine are presented at the International Evening in Kolkata
On March 3, with the assistance of the Russian House in Kolkata, the Russian national stand at the education exhibition began its work. The event takes place on the grounds of the Calcutta Club, one of the oldest social organizations in the city. The Consulate General of Russia, with the support of the Russian House in Kolkata, organized 2 national stands - the first one represents the culture, tourism and educational potential of Russia, the second one provides an opportunity to try Russian cuisine and gives an idea of the culinary traditions of the country. The work of the stands will continue from March 3 to March 5 as part of the events of the International Evening of the Calcutta Club - 2023.
Senior Consul of the Consulate General of Russia Maxim Aleshin took part in the opening ceremony of the educational exhibition and visited the stands of Russia together with colleagues from foreign diplomatic missions.

Мероприятие проходит на территории Калькуттского клуба, одной из старейших общественных организаций города. Генеральное консульство России при поддержке Русского дома в Калькутте организовало 2 национальных стенда - первый представляет культуру, туризм и образовательный потенциал России, второй приглашает продегустировать русскую кухню и даёт представление о кулинарных традициях России. Работа стендов продолжится с 3 по 5 марта в рамках мероприятий Международного вечера Калькуттского клуба - 2023.
Консул-советник Генерального консульства России Максим Анатольевич Алёшин принял участие в торжественной церемонии открытия образовательной выставки и посетил стенды России вместе с коллегами из зарубежных дипломатических миссий.
