🇷🇺📚 The Russian National Stand at the 47th International Kolkata Book Fair was officially inaugurated on January 19th, 2024.
Mr. Alexey Idamkin, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Kolkata, and Mr. Evgeny Reznichenko, Executive Director of the Institute for Literary Translation, who heads the delegation of Russian authors, gave a welcoming speech, focusing on the growing interest of the population of Russia and India in the cultural interaction between the two countries. Those present were interested in the numerous exhibition of books presented at the Russian stand, as well as the extensive program of events planned for all days of the IKBF-2024.

Генеральный консул Российской Федерации в Калькутте А.М.Идамкин и исполнительный директор Института перевода Е.Н.Резниченко, возглавляющий делегацию российских авторов, выступили с приветственным словом, акцентировав внимание на все возрастающем интересе населения России и Индии на культурном взаимодействии двух стран. Присутствующих заинтересовала многочисленная выставка книг, представленная на российском стенде, а также обширная программа мероприятий, запланированных на все дни работы выставки-ярмарки.

Russian pavilion officially opens at the Kolkata International Book Fair
On January 30, the national pavilion of Russia has been formally inaugurated at the Kolkata International Book Fair. Maksim Kozlov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Kolkata, Grigory Antonenkov, Senior Consul and Sergey Shushin, Director of the Russian House in Kolkata, took part in the inauguration ceremony.
Russian House jointly with the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Kolkata have prepared an exhibition of historical photographs, dedicated the the 80th anniversary of the Victory over fascism, which is available to all visitors of the Russian pavilion.

Российский павильон официально открылся на Международной книжной ярмарке в Калькутте
30 января на Международной книжной ярмарке в Калькутте состоялось официальное открытие национального павильона России. В церемонии приняли участие генеральный консул Российской Федерации в Калькутте Максим Козлов, консул-советник Григорий Антоненков и директор Русского дома в Калькутте Сергей Шушин.
Выставка исторических фотографий, посвященная 80-летию Победы над фашизмом, доступна для всех посетителей российского павильона. Выставка организована Русским домом и Генеральным консульством России в Калькутте.
