🇷🇺 Moscow awards winners of the XXIV International Alexander Pushkin Competition
239 works from 21 countries were submitted to the competition in 2024 - 50 teachers from 19 countries became laureates.
The award ceremony was attended by the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoi, the Minister of the Government of Moscow, the head of the Moscow City Department of the Russian Federation Sergey Cheremin, the Director of the Moscow City Department of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozhaev.
Sergey Cheremin: "We are proud that you, teachers specializing in Russian, are raising children in the great traditions of Pushkin"
Russian as a language of interethnic communication allows Moscow to be one of the most competitive megacities in the world, the head of the Moscow City Department of the Russian Federation added.
Moscow is ready to continue to support Russian-language schools, the Director of the Moscow City Department of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozhaev assured the laureates.
A rich program was prepared for the laureates: the experts discussed the situation of the Russian language in their countries during a round table, got acquainted with the Moscow education system, visited the Maly Theater and the main attractions of the capital.
Organizers - the Government of Moscow together with the Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

🇷🇺 В Москве наградили лауреатов XXIV Международного Пушкинского конкурса
На конкурс в 2024 году было представлено 239 работ из 21 страны мира – лауреатами стали 50 преподавателей из 19 стран.
Участие в церемонии награждения приняли спецпредставитель Президента РФ по международному культурному сотрудничеству Михаил Швыдкой, Министр Правительства Москвы, руководитель ДВМС г. Москвы Сергей Черёмин, директор МДС Дмитрий Кожаев.
Сергей Черёмин: «Мы гордимся, что вы, учителя-русисты, воспитываете детей в великих традициях Пушкина»
Русский как язык межнационального общения позволяет Москве быть одним из самых конкурентных мегаполисов мира, добавил руководитель ДВМС.
Москва готова и дальше оказывать поддержку русскоязычным школам, заверил лауреатов директор МДС Дмитрий Кожаев.
Для лауреатов была подготовлена насыщенная программа: специалисты обсудили положение русского языка в своих странах в ходе круглого стола, познакомились с системой московского образования, посетили Малый театр и главные достопримечательности столицы.
Организаторы - Правительство Москвы совместно с «Российской газетой».

👥 Research fellow at the Centre for Russian Studies Rashmi Giri, assistant professor at the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of International Studies at Aligarh Muslim University Ravinder Singh and assistant professor at the Centre for Modern European Languages, Literature and Cultural Studies Subhash Thakur were awarded a prestigious literary prize in Russia.
📆 The International Pushkin Competition was established in 2000 with the aim of promoting the Russian language and Russian culture in the world, as well as moral and material support for the most energetic and talented teachers of Russian studies in countries near and far abroad.

Over the years of the competition, more than a thousand teachers have taken part in it.
