On February 8, a special flight of the Russian Emergencies Ministry delivered humanitarian aid to Iran. It is intended for residents who on January 28 suffered from a devastating earthquake in the north-west of the country. The cargo, weighing 35 tons, included food and basic necessities, including: sugar, flour, vegetable oil, tents, warm blankets, stoves and a mobile power station.

Russian military distributes 38.5 tons of humanitarian aid to Syrians
Russian military personnel continue to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake in the Syrian provinces of Latakia, Aleppo and Hama. Since February 6, 47 people have been rescued from the rubble, and 225 Syrian citizens have received medical assistance. Furthermore, food supplies and basic goods have been prepared for and distributed to those in need. The humanitarian assistance work for the suffering Syrian population will continue in the future.

Российские военнослужащие продолжают устранять последствия землетрясения в сирийских провинциях Латакия, Алеппо и Хама. Начиная с 6 февраля из-под завалов спасено 47 человек, медицинская помощь оказана 225 сирийским гражданам. Кроме того, нуждающимся была подготовлена и роздана помощь в виде продуктовых наборов и предметов первой необходимости. Работа по оказанию гуманитарной помощи пострадавшему населению Сирии будет продолжаться и дальше.

Russia has been providing assistance to Turkey since the first day of the earthquakes, sending rescuers, doctors and humanitarian supplies to crisis zones in the southeast of the country. The Russian Embassy and the Russian House in Ankara held a collection of supplies for the victims at their sites. To eliminate the consequences of earthquakes, Rosatom sent to the southeast of Turkey part of the equipment that is used in the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry sent two aircraft with rescuers to the Republic of Myanmar to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake
At the direction of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the order of the head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Alexander Kurenkov, a group of Russian rescuers flew from Zhukovsky Airport to Myanmar to provide assistance. The combined detachment of the Russian Emergencies Ministry included 120 specialists from the airmobile detachment of the Russian Emergencies Ministry "Tsentrospas" and the Center for conducting special risk rescue operations "Leader". The group also includes dog teams, anesthesiologists and psychologists.
👩🚒 The employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry have extensive experience in eliminating the consequences of natural disasters, including devastating earthquakes. They are equipped with all the necessary equipment to search and rescue victims.

An additional group of rescuers from the Russian Emergencies Ministry is heading to Myanmar
Two Il-76 aircraft of the Russian emergency department are flying 95 specialists from the Russian Emergencies Ministry to Myanmar. They include canine teams and medical workers. They will be sent to the most affected areas, where previously arrived specialists are already working. The group is equipped with the necessary gear, equipment and tools.
⚠️The demand for Russian assistance was noted by the Myanmar authorities at a meeting of the operational headquarters for the elimination of the consequences of the earthquake.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry plane with the last group of Russian rescuers from Myanmar landed in Moscow
There are 50 rescuers and doctors from the airmobile hospital on board the Il-76 aircraft of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. The airmobile group of the department completed the international rescue operation in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The rescuers worked in one of the most affected areas of Myanmar - in the city of Mandalay and its environs. A field camp and an airmobile hospital were also set up there.
🎥At Zhukovsky Airport of Moscow, the participants of the rescue operation were solemnly greeted by the orchestra of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, colleagues and relatives.
