📌 On July 20, young Russian compatriots met with representatives of government agencies and universities in the region. 💬 The children were presented with the educational potential of the Altai Territory, told about the scientific and educational base of the university. 🔼 Later, at the interregional exhibition "Siberia", the participants got acquainted with samples of original artistic creativity from 713 professional artists and art historians from 11 regions of the Siberian Federal District.
➡️ At the end of the day, the children visited local sports facilities. The project participants arrived at the Ob river rowing canal to the “Sports School of the Olympic Reserve for rowing in kayaking and canoe named after Konstantin Kostenko”, where they were able to ride on water transport and even swim in the Siberian river Ob.

A warm meeting was organized for the guests in the hall of the Academic Council of the Altai State University. Seven Russian universities have been included in the Academic Ranking of World Universities for 2024, according to the results of a study by the Shanghai-based company ShanghaiRanking Consultancy.
In the ranking, specific places are assigned to the first hundred educational institutions, then they are divided into groups with a range of 50 and 100 places, within which the ranking is alphabetical.
Russian universities were included:
✔️in the 101–150 group — Moscow State University (MSU);
✔️in the 401–500 group — St. Petersburg State University (SPbSU);
✔️in the 501–600 group — Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT);
✔️in the 601–700 group — Ural Federal University (UrFU);
✔️in the 701–800 group — the Higher School of Economics (HSE);
✔️in the 801–900 group — Novosibirsk State University and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology.
Nine Russian universities were included in a similar ranking for 2023. The updated study did not include I.M. Sechenov Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University) and the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. In addition, in 2024, UrFU overtook HSE, RBK reports.

✔️in the 501–600 group — Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT);
✔️in the 601–700 group — Ural Federal University (UrFU);
✔️in the 701–800 group — the Higher School of Economics (HSE);
✔️in the 801–900 group — Novosibirsk State University and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology.
Nine Russian universities were included in a similar ranking for 2023. The updated study did not include I.M. Sechenov Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University) and the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. In addition, in 2024, UrFU overtook HSE, RBK reports.

📊 Семь российских вузов вошли в Академический рейтинг лучших университетов мира
В Академический рейтинг университетов мира за 2024 год вошли семь российских вузов, следует из результатов исследования шанхайской компании ShanghaiRanking Consultancy.
В рейтинге конкретные места присваиваются первой сотне учебных заведений, затем они делятся на группы с диапазоном по 50 и 100 мест, внутри которых ранжирование идет уже по алфавиту.
Российские вузы попали:
✔️в группу 101–150 — Московский государственный университет (МГУ);
✔️в группу 401–500 — Санкт-Петербургский государственный университет (СПбГУ);
✔️в группу 501–600 — Московский физико-технический институт (МФТИ);
✔️в группу 601–700 — Уральский федеральный университет (УрФУ);
✔️в группу 701–800 — Высшая школа экономики (ВШЭ);
✔️в группу 801–900 — Новосибирский государственный университет и Сколковский институт науки и технологий.
В аналогичный рейтинг за 2023 год вошли девять вузов России. В обновленное исследование не попали Московский государственный медицинский университет им. И.М. Сеченова (Сеченовский университет) и Национальный исследовательский ядерный университет МИФИ. Кроме того, в 2024 году УрФУ обогнал ВШЭ, сообщает РБК.

Russian universities have entered the top 100 of the global ranking of educational institutions in the world
Three Russian universities - Lomonosov Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University (St. Petersburg State University) and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) - entered the top 100 of the global ranking "Three University Missions" in 2024.
This was stated by the president of the Russian Union of Rectors Viktor Sadovnichy at a press conference in TASS.
MSU is ranked 17th, St. Petersburg State University is ranked 49th and MIPT is ranked 54th.
Russia is among the top three world leaders in terms of university representation in the ranking, ahead only of the United States and China.
