Russian schoolchildren have won two gold, eight silver and five bronze awards in the contest of young inventors on the island of Bali.
The International Young Inventors Award is being held for the tenth time. Guys from 33 countries presented 350 projects.
Veronika Alekseenko-Nedyshilova received gold medal for an automated system for detecting objects on railway tracks in real time.
Alexander Sukhotsky and Nikita Shilkov also won gold medals for the interface for controlling robotic systems using hand movements.
Silver and bronze awards were given to participants from schools and research centers in different Russian cities. Among the projects are: car subway, mobile garbage collection and sorting system, biodegradable material from fallen leaves for the production of disposable packaging and others.

On November 18, 25 and December 2, the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after Mikhail Lomonosov (NArFU) will hold a "School of the future engineer" in a remote format. Students of grades 9-11 of schools, colleges and technical schools can take part.
Representatives of industrial enterprises and experts of NArFU will talk about the prospects and trends in the development of engineering, as well as help to understand the differences and features of engineering training areas and admission issues.
Online school program includes:
- BIM-design in construction;
- additive technologies in mechanical engineering;
- innovative materials processing technologies;
- protection in emergency situations;
- digital technologies in industry.

🌟 On June 28, 2024, a grandiose #ScarletSails celebration took place in St.Petersburg. The festival is held annually in honor of the school graduates.
📝 The first to see the ceremonial passage of ships along the Neva were graduates of 1968. That evening, a squadron of boats appeared from under the Kirov Bridge, which moved in a ceremonial formation and opened the festive event. There were three graduates on the admiral's boat "Leningrad" who opened the celebration.
The tradition was interrupted at the turn of the 1990s and was resumed only in 2005.

🥇 Ivan Chasovskikh, Khimki, Moscow Region;
🥇 Egor Saprunov, St. Petersburg;
🥇 Ratibor Koptilin, Novosibirsk;
🥇 Tseren Frantsuzov, St. Petersburg.
💪 Ivan Chasovskikh achieved the second result among all Olympiad participants from 108 countries.
Silver was won by:
🥈 Ilya Zamotorin, St. Petersburg;
🥈 Mikhail Yugov, St. Petersburg.

🏙 As part of the cultural program, the Indian delegation visited the historical and cultural landmarks of the Russian capital, including the Kremlin, Red Square, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the Victory Museum.
📎 During of the cultural exchange, schoolchildren from India also took part in the III International Children's Cultural Forum, where they performed a series of traditional Indian dances and musical pieces. Their performances became a vivid manifestation of Indian culture, highly appreciated by the audience.
📚 According to the Indian schoolchildren, thanks to the visit to Russia, they acquired a deeper understanding of the country and became more closely acquainted with Russian culture and traditions, as well as its rich centuries-old history.
