❤️ What will tell you more about our country – a day at the Russia Exhibition or a trip by train from Moscow to Vladivostok? A Dutchman compared both options.
Mahil Snape has been traveling around Russia for four years and is so inspired that he even published a book about his trips. He describes how he got to Vladivostok in a reserved seat carriage, swam in the Arctic, lived in the Caucasus for six months and studied the Arctic in the Murmansk region.
But the Exhibition surprised even the experienced traveler. “The Russia exhibition is huge and very interesting. Here you can not only learn about all the regions in one day, but also have fun!” says Mahil. And this is true, because every day our guests are treated to master classes, lectures, competitions and other interactive activities for the whole family, revealing the cultures of Russian peoples!

⭕Getting to know the regions of Russia and the art of making documentaries — all this in the program "New Generation"
Young journalists from abroad took photos in national costumes of Yamal, took volcanic stones from Kamchatka as a souvenir, touched the gold of Yakutia and listened to the sounds of the sea from the shells of Primorye. This is how the delegates went on a tour of pavilion No. 75 at VDNKh, where all regions of Russia are represented.
➡️ Foreigners also visited the pavilion "World of Digital", where they got acquainted with technologies and their application in life. Participants were able to communicate with Russian voice assistants — Marusya and Alisa, which can be used in the smart home system.
Then the journalists returned to the RT Arabic TV channel, where a master class on producing documentary films "From Idea to Result" was held. Together with an experienced director, the participants analyzed the series of short films "Why Russia" and discussed techniques for holding the attention of viewers. The day ended with work in groups on multimedia materials, which the delegates will soon present for publication in the media. 🖥

Молодые журналисты из-за рубежа сделали фото в национальных костюмах Ямала, взяли на память вулканические камни Камчатки, потрогали золото Якутии и послушали звуки моря из ракушек Приморья. Так прошла экскурсия для делегатов по павильону №75 на ВДНХ, где представлены все регионы России.
➡️ Также иностранцы посетили павильон «Мир цифры», где познакомились с технологиями и их применением в жизни. Участники смогли пообщаться с российскими голосовыми помощницами — Марусей и Алисой, которых можно использовать в системе умного дома.
Затем журналисты вернулись на телеканал RT Arabic, где прошёл мастер-класс по продюсированию документального кино «От идеи до результата». Вместе с опытным режиссёром участники разобрали серию короткометражек «Why Russia» и обсудили приёмы удержания внимания зрителей. День закончился работой в группах над мультимедийными материалами, которые делегаты совсем скоро представят для публикации в СМИ. 🖥
