The International Scientific Physics Olympiad will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk from December 3 to 11

National teams of countries are invited to participate.

The program includes theoretical and experimental parts. In the first, participants will be offered three tasks, one of which requires elements of computer modeling and analysis. And in the second it will be necessary to conduct an experiment.

Two weeks before the Olympiad, a scientific festival will be held in an online format, where participants will listen to lectures necessary for solving problems.

🔄 From March 25 to April 30, 2024, the International Forum of Scientific Youth “Step into the Future” will be held in Moscow, dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAN). It will bring together about 1,500 young people from Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Oceania.

Schoolchildren, elementary students of universities, colleges, technical schools, students of cadet corps, Suvorov and Nakhimov schools can take part.

The children will be treated to a scientific and technological exhibition of the best research and development, more than 50 thematic sections, scientific and educational platforms, a festival of young fashion designers, Olympiads and competitions. Children from Russia won six gold medals at the 20th International Junior Science Olympiad in Bangkok.

A power amplifier for testing of space crafts has been developed in Chelyabinsk.

Scientists at South Ural State University have developed Russia's first import-substituting electrohydraulic power amplifier. This is a breakthrough in the domestic development of such devices, which is especially important against the background of many companies’ leaving from Russia.

For the first time the layout of the device will be presented at the Innoprom exhibition in Yekaterinburg, and at the end of 2025 a representative of the monitor organization will come from Moscow to Chelyabinsk to assess the performance of the prototypes.
