Russian House in Kolkata will host an exhibition of vintage and rare memorabilia, journals, stamps, coins, photographs. You are welcome to attend the inauguration cerrmony on Wednesday, 10th of August 2022 at 4 p.m. It will be graced by the presence of Mr. Alexey Idamkin, Consul General of the Russian Federation to Kolkata, and Mr. Riazul Islam, Counsellor, Bangladesh Deputy High Commission.
The exhibition will remain open from 3 to 7 p.m. on 11th and 12th of August, 2022.

Collectors' exhibition "Call of the Freedom" opened in Kolkata to mark 75 years of India's Independence
On 10 August 2022, Russian House in Kolkata welcomed visitors to the collector's exhibition of vintage and rare memorabilia, books, coins, newspapers, historical gadgets and others. The exhibition was organized in association with "Kolkata Kathokatha" in celebration of 75th anniversary of India's independence.
Mr. Andrei Agafonov, Senior Consul of Russia in Kolkata and Mr. Riazul Islam, Counsellor at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission, took part in the inauguration ceremony and took a tour through the showpieces.
The exhibition allows visitors to go through the historical objects, books, coins, postage stamps, newspaper clippings on important events, related to India's acquisition of sovereignty.
The exhibition will continue its work till August 12th, 2022, 3 to 7 p.m. Entry free.

Консул-советник Генерального консульства России в Калькутте А.Г. Агафонов и Риазул Ислам, советник Верховного комиссариата Бангладеш, приняли участие в открытии выставки и осмотрели экспонаты.
Выставка позволяет посетителям ознакомиться с историческими предметами, книгами, монетами, почтовыми марками, газетными вырезками о важных событиях, связанных с обретением Индией суверенитета.
Выставка продолжит свою работу до 12 августа 2022 года с 3 до 7 часов вечера. Вход бесплатный.

During the excursion, a group of students has been taken through the showpieces related to the history of the colonial India and its fight for the independence.
