The training is based on the ability of odors to affect the nervous system. EEG indicators are used as a biomarker. This method can be used to treat patients with nasal polyposis, both after COVID-19 and after operations on the nasal cavity.

Ancient manuscripts can be now recognized with help of modern technologies

A computer program determining the age and authorship of ancient manuscripts has been created in Veliky Novgorod. The unique product based on neural networks was developed by specialists from the Advanced Engineering School of the Novgorod University (NovSU) named after Yaroslav the Wise.

There is no analogue of the program, TASS reports. The specialists said that the program is capable of recognizing the time of writing of the ancient document and the author from a photograph of an ancient manuscript.

В Великом Новгороде создали программу, способную распознавать древние рукописи, определяя их возраст и авторство.

Разработку уникального продукта на базе нейросетей осуществили специалисты Передовой инженерной школы Новгородского университета (НовГУ) имени Ярослава Мудрого. По их словам, аналога программы не существует, сообщает ТАСС.

Специалисты рассказали о том, что программа способна по фотоснимку древней рукописи распознать время написания древнего документа и автора.
