🌳 The Pskov region is home to the only European garden in Russia, the Orekhovno estate. It belongs to Russian landscape architect Alexander Grivko, who created the garden in memory of his mother. Despite its status as a private estate, the area is open to the public.

🏠 Orekhovno is distinguished by the fact that different styles are combined in one garden: Renaissance garden, English landscape garden, French regular and Russian manor garden.

🏰 A small castle in the Norman style was built in the center of the estate. On one side it is surrounded by an Italian garden with lilies of the valley, crocuses, snowdrops and a sculpture of Cupid with a bow. On the other side the castle is surrounded by winding paths of an English landscape garden.

🌸 Here you can stroll through green rooms, where instead of walls there are hedges of linden, briar and thuja. There are also estates and a greenhouse with exotic plants.
