The nominees of the Andrey Stenin 2022 International Contest for Young Photojournalists have been announced. It represents more than three dozen photos of young reporters from Bangladesh, Iran, Italy, China, Russia, the USA, the Philippines, France and other countries. This year, reporters from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Guatemala entered the shortlist for the first time.
The names of the winners of the medal places and the Grand Prix winners will be announced in September.

Indian photographers are among the winners of the Andrey Stenin International Press Photo Contest
Winners of the Andrey Stenin Contest have been announced and there are 3 Indian photographers among them:
- Shibashish Saha. "Evergreen smile" in the category "Portrait. A Hero of Our Time";
- Chandan Khanna with 2 works. "Ribbons of loss" in the category "Portrait. A Hero of Our Time" and "Just Numb" in the category "Series";
- Rajesh Mohan Pandey. "Cracking the Ice" in the category "My planet".
The Andrei Stenin International Photo Contest is an annual contest for young photojournalists aged between 18 and 33 years old. It is Russia’s only platform for discovering new photojournalists and for allowing them to make a name for themselves on the world photojournalism stage. In 2021 around 4500 entries from 70 countries were submitted. Since its start in 2014 the contest has been exhibiting around the world, including Moscow, Cape Town, Budapest, Madrid, New Delhi, San-Donato-Milanese, New York, Ankara, Buenos Aires and other cities.
The annual submission period starts on December, 22. The date marks the birthday of Rossiya Segodnya photojournalist Andrei Stenin, who died while on assignment and in whose honour the contest is named.

Международный конкурс фотожурналистики имени Андрея Стенина — ежегодный конкурс для молодых фоторепортеров от 18 до 33 лет. Это единственная в России международная площадка, поддерживающая молодых фотографов, открывая их имена миру. В 2021 году конкурс собрал более 4500 работ из 70 стран мира. С момента старта конкурса в 2014 году фотоработы его победителей выставлялись в Москве, Кейптауне, Будапеште, Мадриде, Нью-Дели, Милане, Нью-Йорке, Анкаре, Буэнос-Айресе, и других городах мира. Прием заявок стартует ежегодно 22 декабря в день рождения фотокорреспондента медиагруппы «Россия сегодня» Андрея Стенина, погибшего при исполнении профессионального долга.

The Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest will be held in Moscow at Rossiya Segodnya's initiative. The contest was named after a Rossiya Segodnya photojournalist, Andrei Stenin, who died in eastern Ukraine in August 2014.
