From January 16 to April 6, the Online Olympiad on the history and culture of St. Petersburg will be held.
Schoolchildren and students aged 14-18 from state and non-state educational institutions in Russia and foreign countries are invited to participate.
Winners and prize-winners are determined in three groups: students from St. Petersburg, from various regions of Russia and from foreign countries. They will be awarded diplomas. All students who complete the tasks of the three rounds will receive a certificate of participation.
The language of the Olympiad is Russian. Participation is free.

According to the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov, the key events of the Year will be its grand opening in January, the Great Teachers' Week, and the Forum of Class Teachers.
Events are planned to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky, the opening of a sculptural and architectural composition dedicated to the outstanding teacher.

In 2023 cumulative volume of grain supply from Russia to Pakistan should achieve 750 thousand tons. Thanks to this, Russia will become main supplier on Pakistani domestic market. Supplies will enter through Gwadar port from 1st of February to 31st of March.

The abandoned village Gamsutl is one of the most famous landmarks of Dagestan. The name of the village is translated from the Avar language as "the foot of the khan's tower". It is likely that the khan, founder of Gamsutl, lived on the top of the mountain, and his army was stationed on its slopes. The village has a very convenient location, with an excellent view of the whole nearby countryside. The steep slopes and difficult ascent make the place practically inaccessible to the enemy.
According to some reports, it is the same age as Derbent, the oldest city in Russia. If historians are to be believed, people settled on this mountain six thousand years ago. Most of the locals left Gamsutl in the 1970s, and in 2015, the last inhabitant left the village.
Gamsutl can be called an open-air museum. Everything is unique here: the location on the crest of the mountain, the surrounding nature with healing springs and steep cliffs, the historical past of the abandoned village and the architecture of the houses.
Gamsutl is popular among tourists — every year it is visited by those wishing to plunge into the atmosphere of past centuries, in close proximity to consider the life and architecture of a high mountain aul.
