🤝 In Nizhny Novgorod, he held a number of meetings with representatives of regional authorities, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and universities. During the talks, agreements were reached on developing cooperation in trade, tourism and education between the city and the Indian states.

🤝 Over the two days, he had meetings with the leadership of the Republic, discussing plans for the development of bilateral relations.

🇷🇺🌊🌊🌊🇮🇳 On September 16, Ratheesh Nair, Honorary Consul of Russia in Trivandrum, visited Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 within his “Voyage@555” project dedicated to the 555th anniversary of Afanasy Nikitin's journey.

⚡️ The visit started with a meeting with Minister Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Baku Petr Volokovykh. The role of Afanasy Nikitin's legacy in the development of the International North-South Transport Corridor was discussed.

🇷🇺 Honorary Consul also got acquainted with the Russkiy Mir (Russian World) Cabinet at the Azerbaijan University of Languages.

📆 Along the route, Ratheesh Nair is further scheduled to visit Iran 🇮🇷 and Oman 🇴🇲. His journey will last till October 12.

🇷🇺🌊🌊🌊🇮🇳 On September 23, the second stage of the "Voyage@555" project, dedicated to the journey of the Honorary Consul of Russia in Trivandrum Ratheesh Nair along the route of Russian merchant Afanasy Nikitin, during which he visited Azerbaijan, came to an end.

🟣During his 6-day stay in Baku, Ratheesh Nair held a number of meetings with diplomats and linguists.

🏥 Together with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Health Sciences of Kerala Mohanan Kunnummal, prospects for cooperation were discussed at a meeting with representatives of the Baku branch of the First Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University).

🗺 Following the route of the famous merchant of the 15th century, Ratheesh Nair visited Lerik, Lankaran and Shamakhi, where he talked with local historians.

📚 On September 27, the Russian House in New Delhi hosted a presentation of the book "Roerich’s World in Poetry" by Prof. Meeta Narain, Jawaharlal Nehru University.

✍️ The unique publication is a collection of poems by the great Russian artist Nicholas Roerich in Russian, Hindi and English accompanied by his paintings carefully selected as illustrations.

📰 The guests of the evening heard the welcoming address of Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov.

🔘The programme of the event also included speeches by Representative of the Rossotrudnichestvo in India Elena Remizova and President of the Indian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (INDAPRYAL) Charanjit Singh.

👥 The presentation was attended by cultural figures, representatives of academic and public circles, the diplomatic corps, Russian compatriots. The evening was also graced with a presence of Kumar Tukhin, Director General, Indian Council for Cultural Relations.

⛸ On October 18, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, hosted the premiere of the "Scheherazade — Ice Show" by Olympic champion Tatiana Navka.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov took part in the opening ceremony of the event, underscoring in his address to the artists and spectators the uniqueness of this international show, organized for the first time in India, as well as the unparalleled talent and professionalism of Tatiana Navka and her team.

🙀 For the spectacle, EKA Arena in Ahmedabad housed a specially prepared site, for the creation of which more than 100 tons of real ice were used. The main roles in the "Scheherazade — Ice Show" are played by renowned figure skaters, multiple champions of Russia and Europe, world and Olympic champions — Tatiana Navka, Victoria Sinitsina, Nikita Katsalapov, Povilas Vanagas, Ivan Righini, Egor Murashov and others.
