Its main feature is the Forest Skating Rink, which operates all year round. The cooling system prevents the ice from melting even at positive temperatures. In the evening, the skating rink turns into a fairy-tale forest with lights and beautiful music.

👍 In 1703, by decree of Peter I, the first printed newspaper was published - "The Vedomosti". Initially, the newspaper did not have a permanent title and was called “Moscow Vedomosti”, “Russian Vedomosti” or “Kuranty”. The format, circulation and frequency of publication were not constant.
➡️ Since 1711, the Vedomosti newspaper began to be published in St. Petersburg. It published materials on military affairs, issues of technology and industry, as well as the achievements of the Russian army. The newspaper also reflected the problems of civil life, such as the founding of St. Petersburg, construction and development of trade.
📝 The main source of information was official documents and reports. Peter I actively participated in the preparation of Vedomosti, supervising materials and choosing topics for publications, relying on official documents and reports.
📰 The number of printed publications grew rapidly - by the end of the 19th century, more than three thousand periodicals were published in Russia. The number of large daily socio-political newspapers, not counting the provincial official Vedomosti, exceeded 200 titles. Today, the Roskomnadzor registry contains data on more than 155,000 media outlets.
🌟 Since 2005, Russian government awards have been presented annually to journalists who have achieved significant success in print media. In 2013, an award was established for figures from all media in connection with the development of technology.

Russian chess player Roman Shogdzhiev becomes the youngest to secure International Master title
Roman Shogdzhiev, 9, has become the youngest player in the history of chess to secure an International Master (IM) norm. The Russian chess player achieved the feat during the RadnickiChess IM tournament that was held in Serbia’s Belgrade in December, 2024.
He was just eight years old when he made headlines by beating five grandmasters during the 2023 World Rapid & Blitz Championship.

🤝You can participate on your own or as a team, as well as an institution - to do this, you need to record a video from 1 to 3 minutes long for one of 12 nominations.

♻️"Eko-cartoon" - creating animation in any way;
♻️"Ecoproject" — creation of your own development, technology or idea in the field of ecology with a request for funds for its implementation;

♻️"Ecotourism" — we show tourism in your region from an environmental point of view;
