I immediately sent a selfie to my friends,” shares her impressions Zinziswa Mani from South Africa, a participant in the New Generation program. Together with other young journalists from Africa, the girl is now undergoing an internship with InteRussia.

📰 The internship of African journalists at Sputnik is coming to an end. After that they will travel to St. Petersburg for the Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum.

☀️ On the eve of this large-scale event, a photo exhibition “Africa: unchanged, changing, new” was recently launched on the media facade of the Rossiya Segodnya MIA. Until the end of July, archival and modern photographs of the nature and life of the African continent will be displayed on the building. Participants of the InteRussia internship covered this event in their news agencies and mass media.

💬The leaders of the holding told reporters about cooperation with African companies, as well as about the new digital educational platform ProAgro Lectorium. When launched, it was aimed at students of Russian agricultural universities, but now it will actively involve profile African specialists.

At the same time, Russia is able to replace Ukrainian grain on a commercial basis, since the country's share in the world market is 20%. Vladimir Putin said this on July 27 at the Russia-Africa forum.

In the next four months, Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso, Somalia, Eritrea will be able to receive 25-50 thousand tons of grain.
