Getting to know Russia 🇷🇺

❓ What does oil smell like, what does lingonberry taste like, and what's there in virtual reality — the kids who came to Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug of Russia on the "Hello, Russia!" program learned all this.

➡️ The kids continue to get to know Yugra. They visited the city's scientific centers: the Yugra Research Institute of Information Technology, the Shpilman Scientific and Analytical Center for Rational Subsoil Use, and the High-Tech Technopark, where they tried local wild plants in addition to the VR helmet.

💻 Young Russians from different countries learned about the region's digital developments, in which areas IT technologies are used, and visited virtual reality. At the Museum of Nature and Man, the city's guests learned about oil production and looked at exhibits of unique minerals, and in the regional television studio, they tried themselves as presenters.

"We were in the Technopark, where I tried VR for the first time. I really liked it, now I want to too,” said Laura Mitnik from France.

❓ Чем пахнет нефть, какая на вкус брусника и что там, в виртуальной реальности — все это узнали ребята, приехавшие в ХМАО по программе «Здравствуй, Россия!

➡️ Ребята продолжают свое знакомство с Югрой. Они посетили научные центры города: Югорский НИИ информационных технологий, Научно- аналитический центр рационального недропользования им. Шпильмана и Технопарк высоких технологий, где помимо VR-шлема попробовали местные дикоросы.

💻 Ребята узнали о цифровых разработках региона, в каких областях используются IT-технологии и побывали в виртуальной реальности. В Музее природы и человека гости города узнали о добыче нефти и посмотрели экспонаты уникальных полезных ископаемых, а в студии окружного телевидения попробовали себя в роли ведущих.

«Мы были в Технопарке, где я впервые попробовала VR. Мне очень понравилось, теперь тоже хочу», – рассказала Лаура Митник из Франции.

Young people from 12 countries - Uganda, Tanzania, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, France, Israel, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Belarus, Moldova and South Ossetia - were impressed by Yugra, thanks to the program "Hello, Russia!".

🧭Young Russian compatriots spent a whole week immersed in the culture and traditions of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.
